Toddler loves this book
My almost three-year-old has been having issues with hitting/using kind words lately. They love reading books at night, so we gave this a shot. They love it! It’s a really interactive read and we repeat phrases during the day if they seem like they’re about to lash out. It’s working so far.

Great book!
Clear, accessible language and pictures make this book an awesome resource for our toddler. We refer back to the text often and it’s a great touchpoint!

Great book
My students have Autism and a lot of books just don't work for them. I buy books all the time and oftentimes read them once or twice in a school year. They have asked for this book repeatedly. I'm so pleased with this purchase.

It's ok
I read it to my classroom and I am having a hard time with getting my students engaged with this story. The message is really good but whole group it didn't go as well as I hoped.

Well written and great illustrations
This book is perfect for a parent or anyone working with 3-5 year old children with aggressive behavior such as hitting and pushing. There's great illustrations to capture little ones' interest and the text is direct and repetitive! We read it daily and I've seen a decline in behavior. I highly recommend this book!!

Child like behaviour
My 6 years have a habit of hitting light ly when playing, not realising other people personal space. This helped me to stop repeating myself while his playing and reinforced in his brain. He is more aware now

Major editing / print error
Whilst checking through the book before seeing if it was suitable for my little one, I noticed that on two pages of this book are from a completely different and unrelated book, seemingly meant for adult readers. Please see photos attached. This is very strange and also, quite unacceptable, given the price of this book. Publisher needs to ensure editing proofs and printing is quality controlled. I can't believe none of thr other reviews have flagged this up!Finally, disappointed that this book does not say more about what a child can do if they feel sad, frustrated or angry.
