I was, after a few tries, able to get all key fobs programmed. It's a bit tricky, because it has to be done just right, but I think the key is to start over completely if you mess up. The first step on my car is getting in and locking the doors. If you mess up after that, you have to open and close the door and then lock them again. You can't leave out opening and closing the door. If you just re-lock the doors it won't work. Or at least it wouldn't for me. Once you get all the steps down it is easy. New and old fobs are working just fine. A lot cheaper than the $135 key fob from Nissan.
