I got this for writing calligraphy and fountain pen letters on, and it's just as pretty as I had hoped.

This beautiful paper lends a real touch of class to a journal or other mixed media project. It is soft and has a soft surface texture that is fairly smooth. There's still enough tooth on it to use pencil.My Micron pens did not bleed through, nor did the paper "pill up" when using them to fill in small spots.I did not like the results with watercolor - but I had to try. I know it was not advertised for watercolors. :)I like them a lot!

I ordered this Handmade Deckle Edge Blank Paper to use for making cyanotypes.In order for a paper to be useful for cyanotype, it needs to have a surface that readily accepts the water-based cyanotype emulsion. It must also be able to hold up development in acidified water followed by a 10-15 wash in water. Most watercolor papers meet these requirements.I love the look of this paper. The surface is beautiful and the deckle edges don't have any artificial look to them. I found that while the paper does accept cyanotype emulsion, it needs to be applied carefully and in a very thin layer. Carefully, because running a brush against the surface of this paper too aggressively will result in pilling. Thin because the paper is very absorbent and applying too much emulsion at one time will cause inconsistencies that will be obvious in the final print.The paper held up during the development and washing process, but you need to use a soft touch. The paper dried well with minimal curling/rippling. While I do love the look of this paper, I will most likely save it for those prints that will look best on a deckle edge paper and when I have the time to baby the process along.

I've become quite fond of this paper as it makes for nice props for my tabletop RPG games. I write information or draw maps, then I soak the pages in a tea bath to "age" the page. They take the ink very well and I have had some success with the tea bath. I may also use these for writing some letters to a special person to bring a smile to their face. It's a little special detail that makes an ordinary letter so much more.

This cotton paper has a very lovely texture, holds all kinds of mediums very well. It is pricey, but it's worth it for the quality/quantity.

This paper lacks the quality I had hoped for ~ it is thin, lacks body & the watercolors do not flow gracefully on this product. I give it 1or2 out of a possible 5. Don’t waste you money.

I really like this lovely paper with the deckle edges. I hand write notes all the time for birthday gifts, shower gifts, etc. and this will be so nice for that little bit of extra elegance. It's not super thick, but thick enough I think. You could use this for crafting as well or even bind some sheets into a small journal if you like. Nice versatile and well-made product.

I have have been doing more and more collage with my acrylic painting and these have been amazing for this purpose. The paper is nice and thick and has beautiful texture. the deckled edge is a lovely touch. Overall, these have been such a great addition to my painting supplies. I am also planning on using these for small water color works...I think these will work perfectly
