ObozMen's Katabatic Low Hiking Shoe

I ultimately ended up returning these shoes but the primary reason was due to how they fit, there is no problem with the shoe itself. If you prefer a molded foot bed with support for high arches I cannot recommend Oboz enough - they are my go to shoe in cool weather. I was hoping these specific shoes would be a good warmer weather option (Oboz do tend to be warm, especially the waterproof iterations) but unfortunately not. For quality and overall support Oboz cannot be beat, but if you are looking for casual summer wear this is probably not the thing.

I'm size 10 but prefer 11's. It would be so comfortable just with the size toe box that Oboz used to have. I even have a couple pair of Vasque and Asolo shoes that fit better in the toes.

After a lot of research I decided on buying these in a low. They fit very funny. The heel is very sloppy and the padding around the heel is extremely abrasive even when wearing $40 socks. The toe box is very tight and I’d suggest going up a full size to fit these but then they’ll fit like clown shoes. After about 10min of walking my pinky toes on each foot will go numb then proceed to get worse the longer I wear them. I really wish I didn’t throw the packaging away so I could return these. Just thankful I got them on sale. If you enjoy a comfortable shoe where you don’t have to clench your toes just to wear without pain I would not buy these. This was my very first pair of Oboz shoes and my very last pair of Oboz shoes. These fit like a pair of chuck taylors. Save your feet and do not buy these shoes. Oh and the seam weld glue was separated when I got them so they fall apart before you ever put them on your feet.

Bought this hiking shoes for my daily and the first pair (that had to return) on shoe squeak like if something was not well adhere on the sole. get a replacement pair and the second one one of the laces is very short! for the price of this product I would expect it to be better quality.I'm keeping them to see how they handle on a daily basis...

Light weight and good support at a decent price. I walk 2-3 miles/day at a fairly quick pace and they have been great so far

Love the look and the fit. Great sole for walking, hiking, working, etc. Sadly though, see the photo, both sides are failing at the same spot. I don't wear these in the summer, bought them in late May, so probably only wore them 15-20 times. SOOO disappointed!!
