It's a fancy cable that can add some flare to your desk compared to a standard cable. The aviator connector could make it easy to swap out the keyboard-side end for Micro USB or Mini USB provided you've got a cable wired for it.The cable itself has a techflex outer layer. The black color makes it hard to tell if it's standard cable or paracord under the techflex. The cable's thickness makes the think it's just standard cable. My other cables sleeved with both paracord and techflex are noticeably thicker.The aviator disconnect is keyed so you can't connect it in the wrong orientation. The female end on the one that I received looked a tad crooked, but it wasn't noticeable once the connector was assembled.The coil has a consistent diameter throughout. It was tight throughout and didn't have any abnormal spacing between the coils. The cable that I received has a bend between one end of the coil and the aviator connector, which prevents me from squaring everything up to make my desk look pretty.The connector housings look a bit different from what was shown in the listing images. The images show the housing having a bit of an arc where it meets the USB connector, which reminded me of the heatshrink look I got with some handmade cables. The color in the listing image also made it look like they were rubbery. The connector housings on the cable that I received are hard plastic and are squared off.At the time of writing this review, the price of this cable was $39.00. I don't think this is a great price for what you're getting. Competing products here on Amazon are around $19.99 for something very similar (ASIN B09F5T7LTQ). This cable is the same price as Hystar's offering (ASIN B09HSQ1C3M), but the Hystar cable has aluminum connector housings, colored aviator connectors, and sleeves the cable with both paracord and techflex.

Well the USB-C end is still detachable people who often need to move their keyboards around will use these to save where in tear on the USB ports. Those ports are definitely more fragile than the quick K’NEX that are used with his cable. This is a fairly standard connection to so any other quick connect cable you buy is liable to be compatible. That’s important.I think it would’ve been nice if it came with another computer side segment though so you can instantly start using it. For now though you only get a single cable in two segments. When you buy one of those magnetic charging cables you usually are supplied with multiple different tips or ends to use and I think it should be no different with this. So when you first get it you’re just giving a keyboard cable. Where is that they supplied another computer side segment, you would be ready to start moving your keyboard around.So you will need to create a quick connect receiver or buy one if you want to use this functionality. The build quality is excellent and the price is reasonable, so even without a second receiving side do you still get a very high quality keyboard cable. And the odd color is growing on me.

Pwnage hits it out of the park again, I've been saying they are one of the companies to watch for years now and this is just another great representation of that. Like always the quality control is perfect and the coiled cable is absolutely flawless. The color is a nice pastel like color and is easy to match with most light pink keycaps, it's not a weird one-off color that's impossible to match like some cables. If you have the pink Pwnage keycaps, they are an exact match and will give you that matching scheme. The coil is a nice size it's not too big around and it's not too short and odd looking like some of the others I have come across. The fabric is nice looking and soft to the touch while still being able to remain stain free fairly easily. For the price you will not find a better option out there this cable punches well above its price class and I really cannot recommend it enough. If you have gotten this far you know what to do hit that order button and complete your setup today....You know you want to!!!

I didn't know what this was when I decided to try it but I like testing out new stuff so I went for it. Happy I did!So aviator cables are for people who like to switch their keyboards out or switch their keyboard from comp to comp with this cable instead of unplugging the keyboard cable from the comp itself. I guess using aviator cables means you put less wear and tear on the boards which sounds great to me. I do like to try out new keyboards often and I do prefer one keyboard for typing and one for gaming so this cable actually works out well for me. Do I switch out keyboards so often that it might actually wear out the ports on my comp in the near future? Probably not but I like how easy it is to use this aviator cable to switch keyboards instead of reaching around to the back of the comp and trying to feel around to plug a keyboard in. It's super annoying for me to have to try and peer around the back of the tower to find the ports and this makes it waaay easier because the port/connector is right in front of me.Only gripe is that the plastic doesn't match the cord fabric booo. The cord feels sturdy and durable though so since this is my first aviator cable I can deal with the mismatched colors.Overall happy with this purchase but wish the colors matched. Good braided aviator cable though! All my keyboards have worked with it so far.
