I got this for my 8yr. Old great grandson's birthday. He plays with it all the time and it's still works perfectly. It is really cool how it goes in water. Great value

I would not recommend buying this product as the chargers melt after a little over a months use. My son had one and the charger melted so we exchanged it for a second one and 2 months later that charger is also broken. We are now outside the return window so he's out the money. We looked to buy a charger but can't find the correct one to replace it.

This RC is a great introduction into the style with the pistol grip remote control. it's mostly for a younger child. but it's good because they're pretty sturdy. they're fast enough to have fun with. they'll go on almost any terrain and won't get stuck. they're kind of narrow wheelbase and tall so they tend to tip over more than usual but they last and will take a beating. they are waterproof just make sure you always keep the battery cap. I've got no issues with this so far I've had a lot of fun so did my nephews these definitely if you could get two and you have somebody to play with it's way more fun that way.

The media could not be loaded. This is a really neat truck, especially great for younger kids (probably ideally younger than 10).Any parent of young kids knows they love to test the limits of these remote control vehicles. Puddles/water are the ultimate test/fun. The fact that this vehicle is completely waterproof and can actually drive on land and into water…and then keep going…makes it nearly perfect for this age group in my mind.The build is seemingly pretty sturdy/rugged as well. It’s not built out of metal, so it won’t be indestructible, but it doesn’t have as many moving parts as most vehicles, so you don’t have those wheel joints that are going to break off as easily.Of course, it’s built that way, because only having two wheels rotate at a time to turn (as opposed to the front wheels actually moving side to side) allows the vehicle to turn in the water as well.I will note; however, that it is not exceptional as a truck or a boat (that’s why I think it’s ideal for kids under 10). It doesn’t turn well at high speeds (or much of any speed really). You pretty much need it to stop to change direction. And it doesn’t skim across the water like a boat would. It just kind of turns through the water. It is fairly fast on the land…not so much in the water.Those items don’t seem like major problems for me though. The fact that it does both things still is a huge win. The only reason I am removing a star is because it doesn’t warn you when the battery is almost dead or when you are in danger of being out of range of the remote. Those are major negatives in my opinion. They mean you have to run it in waters you are willing and able to get into in order to retrieve it if it dies.I had two crying children on my hands the first time they took the vehicle out, because they had it in a stream, and it died on them and was floating away. We were able to get it back, and now we know and will be more careful, but adding those warnings should be fairly easy. Hopefully that will be something they add for the next generation of this vehicle.Again, keep this thing where you can retrieve it, and it’s a real winner. Enjoy!

This is an RC Truck that you don't have to worry about out in the elements The nice big wheels take on the terrain well, and water is NOT a problem for this truck! It was made to be amphibious. Drop it in the water for a drive! Awesome stuff!The truck comes with a screwdriver, 2 rechargeable batteries, and a USB battery charger. Total charge between both batteries is between 30 and 40 minutes, which is some solid play time. Each batter takes between 2 to 2.5 hours to charge.This is a ton of fun for any kid (or adult) who wants a little off-roading RC adventure!Highly Recommended!
