Zoom Magic
I had a lot of complaints about voice quality and echo during zoom meetings. This solved the problem 100%

Excellent microphone--easily bests Snowball, competitive with Yeti
I've been a fan of the Blue line of USB microphones for several years--and when we all started working from home, I was the guy who sounded best because my home setups always used Blue microphones (Snowballs or, in one location, the Yeti). That said, while the Blue Snowballs offer good value and performance, they aren't perfect--as is easily ascertained by comparison with the big brother Yeti, which offers fuller sound, better sensitivity, and better spatial placement. When I had the chance to test out this Jlab Epic Talk microphone, with specs that are nearly identical to the Yeti X, but at a price closer to the Snowball, I was in.This microphone is far more reserved in terms of size and styling than the Blue microphones (see photos). It takes up less space on the desktop, which is a big plus. Connection is via a standard USB-C connector. It can be powered by any PC or Mac and can also work with smartphones/tablets that support an external microphone--I used it with my Samsung S21 smartphone as an external microphone. No drivers are required: Just plug and play with any of these platforms. The JLAB Epic Talk features four microphone patterns that are enabled by the 3 integrated condenser microphone capsules (16mm). It samples at 24 bit/192Khz, which is a far higher rate than the older Blue microphones, which sample at 16/44 or 16/48, and is comparable with the newer Blue Yeti X, which also samples at 24/192.It provides adjustments for gain/volume/mute/carotenoid pattern/LED lights. Everything is adjustable from the buttons on the front of the microphone, which is nice. The sound quality is quite good. A/B-ing against the Snowball, there was no competition: The JLAB Epic Talk is fuller and clearer, and the microphone is more sensitive. Compared to the Yeti, things are quite a bit closer. While the two microphones (JLAB Epic Talk and Blue Yeti) are definitely different sounding, I can't say either sounds better. They are both very pleasing and natural. Both are appropriately sensitive. In stereo and omni modes, both seemed to provide an equally spacious reflection of the source. When I plugged the JLAB microphone into my phone and recorded myself playing guitar, the sound was very clear, even with a loud acoustic (or amplified electric) guitar fighting with my voice for center stage. The quality of the recording would certainly be sufficient for making demo recordings--and is far better than the microphone integrated into the Smartphone (no big surprise there). The microphone will display a variety of pretty LED light patterns, and you can cycle through these with either the button on the back or by pressing the volume/gain/mute button. Honestly, these look cool, I very quickly turned off the light effects because they add nothing to the functionality and became a bit distracting. On the whole, this is a very nice microphone with good sound, good controls, and a clean, non-intrusive footprint. Recommended.Pros:** All controls accessible from front** Good sound: Clean, clear, accurate, not muffled** Four pickup patterns** 24-bit/192 Khz high end sampling** Mute functionality** USB-C interface** 1/8" minijack for real-time monitoring if desired** Generously long 10' USB cable included** Modest footprint fits well on a professional desktop** Works great, without additional software or drivers, on PC/MAC/Modern_SmartphonesCons:** Stand is pretty cheap** No XLR connectivity (USB only)** Moderately expensive for this microphone category

Use daily for all those remote meetings.
I have been working remote for quite a while. Did it before the shift in 2020. I have used several different mics. My previous go to was actually my wife's little Samson mic. That's a good mic and have never had an issue with it, but it is my wife's. So I needed something that would get me the same quality of audio pickup. This mic does that and has some additional features. It is larger than that other mic, but I have an arm on my desk to mount it on so the space it takes up is not an issue. There are settings for audio capture on the mic for different directions of pickup and a gain knob. You can also push the gain knob to mute the mic.The tripod that comes with the mic is high quality and sturdy. As I mentioned I have it mounted on an arm. The multiple mounting options are a good feature too.Something like this mic is maybe overkill for what I use it for, but I do have a voice that doesn't carry well and that makes it so I don't feel like I'm yelling in meetings I'm on. It picks up my voice very well and I can talk at a normal volume. For sure glad to have this mic.

Great deal, great sound quality
I did not have any dislikes for this microphone to be completely honest. My grandson is trying to get into YouTube videos and some of the studio quality microphones I saw when trying to find one for Christmas where in my opinion so unreasonably expensive so I was thrilled when I came across this version! The price is absolutely right and the build quality is excellent! It feels heavy and well constructed, the audio quality from this microphone is incredibly crisp. It sounds like he is in a professional sound studio when he's making his videos. I'm not sure about the directional microphones because his desk is up against the wall but for what he has been using it on it's been fantastic! The tripod is very sturdy and strong metal base and it just looks very sleek next to his gaming PC. Overall I think this is a wonderful microphone that is a great value for the money if you're looking for superior sound quality making recordings. Definitely something you could use as a budget microphone when your first starting out on audio projects. Highly recommended!

Great little USB microphone
This little USB-C microphone packs a serious punch for such a small and simple device. It’s sleek, stylish looking, and is ready to roll in about 30 seconds after taking it out of the box. The microphone is extremely simple to operate. You have a gain control knob, and if you click it you can mute the microphone. The headphone jack is a standard 3.5mm AUX port, so you can plug in any old headphones to monitor yourself while you’re using the microphone. What I love most about this microphone might seem silly to most people, but the fact that it has a tabletop tripod stand that can be unscrewed to reveal threading that you can use to mount the microphone to a stand so it can be setup as an overhead microphone and clear up your desk space. Having that option, desktop tripod, or overhead, is really great, especially for a microphone at this affordable price point.I also appreciate that you can change between different recording patterns depending on what you’re recording. Not many microphones at this price are capable of that.It uses USB-C, which is great. The only drawback is that the cable it comes with is USB-C to USB-B. Not sure why it’s not just a standard USB-C to USB-C, but I ended up using one of my spare USB-C cables anyway.
