Octonauts come to life!
My 2-year old's favourite show is Octonauts. He loves discovering new fish and creatures, like the Adelie Penguins. But of course it's really all about the crew of 8, known as the Octonauts. These figures should actually more aptly be called "action figures". They are all made of durable PVC (plastic rubber?) and have movable joints to pose them: their legs bend at the hip so they can sit or stand; each arm can raise up or down; their heads move left or right (but not backwards, which is better). Even Inkling (the pink octopus) moves his head. Some characters need to be propped up with their arms when sitting so that they don't fall over. Peso (the penguin) and Dashi (the brown dog) have smaller legs and have a little more trouble sitting than the other characters. This set gives you the entire Octonauts cast, and my son loves to re-enact the episode exit music sequence ("We're done with the mission...") with the action figures lined up. Of course Kwazii (the orange cat) & Peso are his favourites, but he insists on bringing all 8 with him everywhere. So either get a bag or backpack to carry them all around, as well. The Octonauts backpack is a good size. :)

All the key Characters
My daughter was very pleased with this set, as she now can act out all her undersea adventures, and has characters her best friend hasn't got (crucial apparently when you are a competitive 7 yearold!). Seems expensive, but this is actually the cheapest way to get all the key characters, without having to buying individual packs with extras that are not always wanted, and some of the characters are tricky to track down in other ways (My daughter is particularly pleased to have Professor Inkling for instance). We now have a few duplicates of characters (having various GUPs and playsets), but fortunately they seem to have different outfits...and these have become cousins/brothers/etc of main characters according to my daughter! The figures are durable, and can go in the bath; I don't think they will easily get broken, and will hopefully stimulate lots of imaginary play.

Kids love them and great quality
My daughter loves octonauts so I bought these as cake toppers/ 3rd birthday gift. As previous reviews mention there was Chinese writing on the box, but that didn’t bother me. Might be annoying if it is a a gift for someone else though! The figures are solid durable plastic and the 2nd photo is them nearly 1 year after purchase and use. My nearly 4 year old and 2 year old both LOVE these and are played with daily :-)

Genuine Stock not cheap knock off
I ordered then cancelled because of poor reviews of quality and probably being counterfeit. I messaged the seller and they were clear that these figures are genuine stock so I reordered and they are. They’re branded Mattel on back of head, the octonaut logo is on the hats and they feel well made and should be durable. So I’d avoid the £4 and £5 ones, £16 is a good buy if you want happy kids!

Much better value than buying individually!
My son LOVES octonauts and we rewarded him with a character once a week for being dry at night/extra good behaviour. This was going to get pricey as these cost upwards of £10 individually and all you get with them is a random sea creature which my little boy lost immediately so after getting conned into buying 2 I found this multi pack. These work out much better value -still overpriced tat really but it makes him smile!

Really good value!
As other reviewers have said, this is a good way to get all the octonauts at a reasonable price. Serious fans can pick up sea creatures and accessories in other sets, but this is a good alternative to paying an eye-watering sum collecting the octonaut and sea creature twin packs. The quality of the figures is generally high: they are not too difficult for young children to pose and they are very robust. My only quibble is that the paint on them does tend to chip easily and they don't look perfect for long (and we aren't very rough with our octonauts).
