Expensive, but nonetheless a quality product. Much easier to use than traditional hair straighteners with the case proving very useful when travelling.

So I bought this as a gift for my daughter. It had a problem with the handle but otherwise worked. Then I bought another one for myself about a week later. Strangely the first bought started misbehaving while the second bought is doing just fine. The brush (first one) flashes red and green which apparently is a Control system error. We wrote to the company for a replacement and then noticed that it was missing a serial number. Strangely enough the second bought has a serial number, as it should be, on the side as well as the cord. Wondering what’s going on? Same product, same Amazon, one faulty .

Initially thought it to be a good product but after using it just twice, the cable that attaches to the end isn't a strong enough connection and keeps pulling out when you move the brush. Had to return and now looking at alternatives.

Straightens Afro hair within 10 minutes.However on my afro hair my hair stays straight for one hour, then starts to revert back as if I had just blow dried my hair, so probably best to use hair straightener on top of this product.Another problem is charging wire which needs to be in at all times, comes loose every few minutes. It's quite hard to clean the comb so debry oils and dust easily gets left behind. No cleaning tools given or instructions given on how to clean between brushes. Ideal for European hair probably.I have Also burnt my ears on two occasions so need to be careful ears don't get stuck with comb gap.Comb has never burnt my scalp though which is good as it has many safety features.

At last after 55 years, something that tames my hair without me having to spend ages in front of a mirror! Smooth hair in 5 minutes!

The short cut to a salon blow dried look. This brush gives smoother hair and is quick & easy to use.I have long, very thick fine-textured hair which takes at least 40 mins to blow dry and as I'm lazy I usually let it dry naturally. It gets quite wild and frizzy and no hair product entirely tames it. Dafni is brilliant, takes a couple of minutes and I'm left with smoother, softer hair.I bought the travel brush asA) the full sized ones looked pretty bigB) it has a bristle guard and case so can be packed away safely after use - handy if you have small kids or pets around or just worry about leaving the straighteners switched on!DownsidesCable is quite short & can fall out (hence 4*). Would still recommend though.If you want completely straight hair you'll need ghd but if you want to restore a smoother finish without excessive time or heat damage, this is pretty good value.

Excellent product, does exactly what it says. Wife uses it daily. Very satisfied.

Update; Sadly I’ve gotten through two of these brushes in 10 months, the electrics will give up on you if you use it daily. My original review below still stands as far as doing what it’s supposed to, but it does however have a fatal flaw. Such a shame because I really liked it. So for that reason I’ve had to downgrade the star rating to a one.I’m a man with thick, frizzy, collar length curly hair that can be seriously unruly much of the time, I have used straighteners in order to tame it sometimes but came across the Dafni when searching for an alternative solution. It seemed a little expensive but having read the reviews and discounted the trolls I thought I’d give it a try - wow! This thing is amazing, five minutes of brushing my hair every morning just leaves me shocked at what it can do. It does exactly what it claims it can do and it’s worth every penny - you won’t be disappointed.
