I have two Lumix (LX7 and GX1) cameras sat on my shelf and always find the strap getting in the way when at home.So I was looking for a quick release mechanism for attaching and removing the straps. I considered using small clips or carabiner until I came across this.You get 4 in a pack, so I removed the straps from both my cameras and attached the loop section to the cameras. I then attached the existing Lumix straps to the female connector. Perfect - I can now use the cameras with our without the straps.

Using on a Canon 6Dmk2 with Sigma 24-105. Easy to attach and detach, so useful to remove strap when using tripodWould recommend
