Not well made
Not the best workmanship for the price... will likely not use them, I bought 3. Likely made in a factory in India that makes inexpensive metal products.

I wouldn't buy
I can't slide the bracket apart to make it work.... I returned it and purchased another one but this one still will not slide apart. I have contacted seller and have not received any response on how to make it work.

High quality solid brass
Solid brass. High quality. Bigger than expected but fit the job perfectly on a standard sized 36" interior door. Easy to install with good hardware provided. Highly recommended.

Sturdy and solid. Depth of plunge can be adjusted on installation by deciding where the saddles are mounted. Works great on our Dutch door.

Items arrived with finish already scraped off where the bolt passes thru the staple and one of them had a loose knob that could not be tightened.
