I will eat my words
I originally gave a negative review of this product due to not being able to get it to work, But after been contacted by the company and them offering me a new free product to test out without cost, I have to be honest and say that their product is value for money and it does what is say on the tin, this device is extremely small and portable and when working correctly will give you access to many of the popular VPN servers around the world, it also displays the current demand on each server. I mostly access the CW tv network in the united states and it works perfectly for this purpose during my testing of this device and this particular service I did not experience any loss of service, I also tested it on another popular Scandinavian service SVT and again it worked perfectly and in good quality, I tested out the Irish VPN server and tried out RTE and again it worked without any issues, the only issue I really encountered were a few speed issues when using the French servers and south American servers, I would also like to point out that I tested this device using Sky Fibre Broadband with a download speed of 70mbps, It also works well with the current Sky Broadband Router and firmware., I cannot confirm how secure this device is online and would advise that you practice your normal online security activities, but it does appear to do exactly what it says and gives access to geo-locked websites for example there are a few American news websites that are blocked in the UK due to GDPR, by switching to this device and using a USA server you can access these sites, the average latency is around 100ms when using a server in the USA, to give you a general idea Xbox considers anything up to 150ms good for online gaming, the average Latency for the UK, Irish or European servers tends to be around 12-15ms which I consider to be excellent, I have tried this VPN device on many household devices from mobile phones to Nintendo 3ds to my smart tv and in a nutshell, it works. I would like to point out though that regardless of your Internet speed, the average speed that this device runs at is around 6 to 8mbps download speed more than fast enough to run most devices in HD you may struggle if you try to run multiple devices in HD through this device but this would be the case on any broadband connection with a download speed like that in any case, I can only finish by saying please give this product a chance and if you encounter any issues regarding card payment just contact the company concerned which was something I failed to do at the time. Thank you for giving me a second chance to try your product.

Don’t waste your money
Where do I begin with this? Ok, I foolishly brought the 2 year subscription. Well I say I brought 2 years, because that what it is advertised as. When you sign up they give 700 days. So less than advertised.Anyway onto the product itself. The procedure goes as follows:1) Turn on the VPN.2) Connect your device to the VPN. This is pretty straightforward. They give you the password3)Sign in to the VPN. Forgot your password. No problem. Click the forgotten password link.4) Find the public WiFi join it.5) Then sign into your pass with your email address and password. Not the one you used in number 3. Forgotten this password? Well tough luck. No link for you.I have had this VPN 5 months (6 months, if you use the way Pyramid count days 😃) and I have successfully logged in 3 times. This is a potentially good product poorly implemented and falsely advertised.

Pretty good!
I purchased this after my colleague recommended it and I’m mostly happy with my purchase.Good:- You forget it’s there, I have most of my devices connect to pyramid instead of my main router now- Speeds are reasonable, haven’t noticed much or any slow-down- Works with Netflix & iPlayer- Set up wasn’t difficult (approx 5 minutes)Not so good:- The website chat was really helpful at explaining that the light on the middle shows the VPN is on and the switch can turn it off but if it was on the instructions it would be more helpful- The web app is nice and simple, but I’d prefer an app in the app store for managing wifi settings so looking forward to that being addedThe pass is also really reasonable, it’s about £4 a month with the annual version so a lot more reasonable than some of the vpn apps.

Exactly what I needed
I got recommended to buy Pyramid from my brother but ended up with Liberty shield because Pyramid was out of stock. Big mistake, so glad I’ve managed to get this instead. After watching the video, I downloaded the app and it took about a minute to connect to my BT Hub (it also doesn’t need to plug into the router so doesn’t need any unsightly yellow cat5 cables like the shield product). It’s also very small so not something that is noticeable like most routers.I have been using the router for about a week at it’s not dropped once. Previously I was an avid NordVPN user but I wanted something that worked on both my Apple TV and my PS5 when I manage to get hold of one. After a disappointing experience with a different VPN router I was delighted that this worked with no hiccups, even on Netflix that was hit or miss with Nord.Signal strength is very strong, works with all the apps I’ve tried, and on my TV. I personally don’t have any complaints and think it’s a great buy for the price.

Not as advertised
This product does not do what is advertise. For example it’s advertised as a go anywhere product but what is not made clear that is only if you can get a WiFi signal. I would of liked to use it in my campervan and I often don’t get a WiFi signal and have to use my hotspot on my phone, this product does not see that hotspot so cant be used. It also can’t be used with a Firestick which I often use so once again to me is useless.I am very disappointed as I thought this product was just what I needed.
