7" Gutter Screw Brown

I purchased these to fix a 20ft gutter that was sagging due to the original nails falling out. When I pulled out the old gutter nails, they were badly rusted. The design of the gutter screws are great since the sleeve/spacer is plastic, and the screw has a slightly larger gauge than standard gutter nails to ensure fitment. Instead of purchasing new gutters, these are an awesome investment in maintaining your home especially for the price. The gutter screws also come with a drill bit that is specifically designed to prevent stripping. From the companies website: ACR stands for anti-cam-out recess. There are ribs on the driver bit that engage the patented recess to reduce stripping, provide increased torque, enhance off-angle drivability, and offers a stick fit that makes screw driving easier. Phillips II Screws can be driven with a standard Phillips Bit and a Phillips II Bit. For the features of the patented ACR system, we recommend the Phillips II Bit that is included.

After more than 20 year in service. the ribbed nails in my gutters had lost their traction and allowed the gutter to sag. These replacement screws are an inch longer and the threads allow for significantly more torque to be applied for a like-new look and fit. Very pleased with the outcome.

Like many things we purchase you wonder if it worth the money . I can tell you I was very surprised at how well these screws worked .Yes we had a section of gutter that was lower and the nails had pulled out , yes I tried to nail them back in once , that did not hold. removed the old nails and installed the new screws , they griped great and lifted the gutter back where it should have been .Yes they work , yes I would purchase again , and yes they are worth the money .

After shopping several Big Box stores, chain hardware stores, and local stores for these Gutter Screws, all that I found were either 6" screws or similar 7" screws priced significantly higher than these being reviewed.I would have given a 5 star review, except that the spacer ferrule with these screws is plastic. I'm reasonably confident the plastic ferrule will hold up a decade or more... but would not be surprised to see brittleness or failure in the longer run. I've given the screws themselves a real test in that I mounted about 65 of them into fresh wood fascia plates covered with aluminum flashing...no breakage, no spun heads, and no bending. All in all, an excellent product at an excellent price from an excellent vendor. These are the days, my friends!

They hold really well. You probably need to pre-drill the holes. They are also good for hanging tools in your workshop or garage.

These screws were a solution for my nails backing out and causing my gutters to fall. Worked great.
