As an off brand, bought the 4 year Asurion warranty. Setup was simple. Came with the adapters and was super duper easy to install. 30mins from unboxing to letting the glue dry. Replaced a Pentair 1hp that was 5 years old but gotten very noisy.Man, this runs soooo quiet and the setup is a breeze. Simple menu and the variable speeds are great. Will say on the lower settings, my salt cell doesn’t get adequate flow. But I have it on the high for 2 hours in the am and then mid later for a few hours.Time will tell, but the warranty was an insurance policy.

Company only has a 45 day policy. 90 max. 4 months into it product failed. Thankfully had the insurance program with Amazon through asurion. So almost 600 didn't go to waste. Now looking for a pool pump that can withstand 4 months with a warranty longer then 90 days max

I purchased this pump to replace a failed up. I had decided on a variable speed pump due to the power advantage. There was also a rebate that made this pump all the more attractive.I had one issue, the pump is listed as energy star certified, it is. However there is not a sticker on the pump. I contacted the seller and they were helpful with getting the confirmation.The install went well. I ran new lines for power as the old pump shared a 120v circuit with the salt chlorinator.Once installed and plumbed, the pump worked well. I added an electronic timer for the chlorinator.Now, the system is automated, all that is needed is clean the filter and the strainer for the chlorinator.Programming was easy, just follow the instructions in the manual.I would like to see the warranty be longer than 90 days, parts only. Definitely purchase the warranty from Asurion, a 63$ well spent for 3 years of protection.Overall, I am satisfied with the pump as well as the support given by the company XtremepowerUS.

Using this pump for an in ground pool. The recommended pump size is 1.5 hp.The pump comes with glue on PVC fittings for 1.5" and 2" PVC. I am using 1.5" PVC.There is a very large basket which requires little maintenance. The top of the reservoir is easy to remove and install for cleaning debris.The control panel is easy to operate and has various programmable settings with 4 scheduled modes. The default program is fine for most applications but can be changed for any application.In winter where it's only freezing at night, where the pump is in use it would be best to change the start time where the pump runs at night while it's cold. It can also be set to run 24 hours, running on low most of the time to prevent freezing and run on higher speed enough to maintain pool or run cleaner as needed.Any of the 4 scheduled modes can be used manually and there is a quick clean mode which is used manually for a cleaner or other application needing to run the programmed speed and dyration. Pump speed and duration is programmable in the 5 different modes.When the pump is scheduled to be off pressing any of the 5 mode buttons will run that programmed speed and duration and return to the schedule after that cycle completes.Upon loss of electricity the pump will come back up with the automatic schedule and run buttons on when power is restored. The clock should hold the time for about 24 hours of power loss and the programmed schedule should save for several days without power.If clock time is lost the pump will still run on the programmed schedule although the time will be off. If programmed schedule were lost the pump will run the default schedule.The pump is fairly quiet in operation depending on the programmed speed it's running.The first schedule is set to the higher speed to prime the pump. I have had no problem with the pump priming.Only had it for 3 weeks so I cannot comment on longevity.

It was easy to install, works great. Pool has never looked so good. Very quiet

The way the product is connected together is not reliable. The thread inserts can pull out pumpimg all the water out of the pool. Manufacture does not even list a phone number. They want you to ship the item out and never send a shipping label or instructions.Buyer bewareI plan on filing a complaint with the FCC

I was weary of buying an "off brand" pump, but also didn't want to go over budget. I checked out with a third party 3 year warranty for some piece of mind. But this pump has been installed for a few weeks and it has exceeded every expectation! Super easy to set schedule(doesn't even need a timer box) it is "smart" lol so far it completely blows my old 1hp single speed pentair out of the water. I have this on a 6 hour schedule(less than recommended) and my pool has never been this clean without me having to brush and skim constantly on my last pump. This pump has made my life easier and I cannot wait to see how much money I saved on my electric since it has 4 speeds, I only assume the people complaining about setting timer or having leaks have no idea what they are doing when comes to install. Plumb it right, follow the manual and it was a breeze. I would highly recommend this pump to anyone. It is 90% quieter than my last pump, and my pool is much more cleaner than ever before. I wish I had made this purchase a long time ago, and with the third party warranty I am worry free for three years and I expect it to pay for itself by the time summer has ended in electricity alone. Not to mention the hours of my life I'm saving not having to scrub and skim everyday.

Pump lasted for just a couple months and went out. forget trying to get replaced from company. Terrible service
