As a newbie to decarboxylator's i expected something much larger but i did not read the product description where the size and weight are clearly mentioned.This is a game charging for would be chefs or if you just like experimenting with foods without having to buy a whole pack / bottle of flavoured butters and oils.Very easy to use especially for newbies like myself, very comprehensive instructions and the unit only having 4 buttons you won't get confused on how to use this.Good value for money, very compact, great design for keeping clean, all you need is a creative mind for discovering tasty butters and oils.

My husband is a Chef and he couldn't wait to try this out.It comes nicely boxed and is small and neat, doesn't take up much space.It comes with clear instructions and is easy to use.It is ideal for home use, for people who love cooking and experimenting with different flavours. What is useful for us is the ability to make dairy free products as one of the family my Husband looks after is dairy intolerant, so he can make garlic or herb butters with a dairy free option - something that is not easy to purchase from the shops.At £129, it isn't cheap, but if you love your cooking, then it's a cool investment.

This is a smaller size than I expected but the instructions are clear and it is easy to produce really tasty flavoured oils with it. Quite pricey and not sure how often it will get used but a handy little gadget.
