The Lone Wolf series of books are in my mind a must have for anyone interested in the fantasy genre. They are so rich in content, so well written and immersive that they are an excellent read. Not only that, the style of writing puts the reader in a position of active decision making rather than passively following the story. They have stood the test of time, and I have re-read the series on many occasions.In Fire on the Water we quest to a distant land to recover a treasure essential in the defeat of the army occupying the kingdom. It's a covert operation fraught with danger that had me enthralled.Highly recommended.

Flight from the Dark was a frantic escape from the hordes of Helgedad, a race against time to the capital of Sommerlund, Book 2, is an epic over sea and land adventure with a cataclysmic climax. Together books one and two are an incredible introduction to Joe Dever's Lone Wolf saga. The world building is phenomenal! These new definitive editions are beautifully put together, restoring the original artwork by Gary Chalk. Highly recommended! Perfect for young teens to those of us reliving our youth!

Everyone on the Holmgard Press team have done an exceptional job with the re-release of this incredibly epic RPG saga. It's wonderful to see Lone Wolf back on shelves and will hopefully have the chance to be read by new and old fans alike. The bonus content is suburb and the refinements and adjustments only add to this great work and take nothing away. Cannot wait to experience the entire story once more.

Essentially this is the second part of your adventure. Book 2 follows book 1 right? However you do need both parts to experience the adventure, fortunately you can now do so.There is extra content in this book, new game mechanics and fixed erratia. Definitely worth your purchase
