All the positive reviews are very accurate. Please look at those before going to the negative ones. The bag is true to description. My bag did not have a scent and they were brand new! I guess it depends on the warehouse.I also purchased a bag organizer which still has plenty of room to fill at the top.*ANYWAY*... I purchased the black bag a month ago, and like it so much that I another black one for traveling. (I'm weird like that - those who get it, get it). I also purchased a brown one with this order.I was excited when they arrived, because I really LOVE this bag! Sadly, when I opened the box, I noticed that one of the packages were slightly opened with a "ready to ship" bag inside, which let's me know that I received a used bag. You can tell, because the label did not say "NEW". Also, I opened the wrapping and the label tag was not on the strap. Then I looked in the bag and saw a bit of lint that doesn't seem to have come from the white wrapping paper. (Clearly it was lightly used.) Yep, I was disappointed!I'd like to mention that I also bought a brown one in this order, which WAS marked "NEW". The label tag was on the strap as it's supposed to be.Again, the bag is true to its description, hence why I bought 2 more in different colors. Needless to say, I returned the 2nd black bag. I paid for NEW, not lightly used! I wouldn't say this is Amazon's fault, but it is the fault of the warehouse.In closing, the bag is great! It's strong and really great. I dolled it up with charms and everything.

This bag is amazing! I loved it so much, I bought multiple colors. It is so well constructed and very roomy. I carry many books and a laptop so having strong straps is very important to me. This bag literally has straps that are sewn into the entire bag. I also don't like when straps fray but I have been using this bag for over a year and there is not one string that has shown. If I spill something on it, it is easy to wipe clean. The colors are so nice! I highly recommend as a school bag, a shopping bag, a diaper bag, beach bag, whatever you need. I also like that there is no zipper. I can easily access all of my items with ease. Great purchase!!

I use this for my daily work bag (laptop, chargers, notebook, pens, and health stuff, etc.) and sometimes I even throw in an extra pair of shoes or a jacket…and it fits it all. I bought this bag with the idea to use it as a carry on/quick weekend bag this summer. I am not a purse girl by any means but it came in so handy during the first of my few mini vacations planned this year. And it will become my new day trip bag with my kids. I love it!

A friend of mine raved about this bag after I told her I needed a tote that could pull double duty as a carry on bag AND a work/laptop bag. This is a home run for me. I have a LOT of stuff crammed inside this bad boy and I am not worried about the straps or stitching. It’s super chic and looks much more expensive than it actually is. I bought two colors, nude and green and they are both so so good. I bought an organizer insert to fit inside the bag because I prefer some order and structure. Without the insert, the bag will not sit up on its own and does collapse into a heap. The insert allows it to sit up and have a flat bottom. Overall, 5/5 for me!
