The media could not be loaded.  Idk why people are down on this product. I’ve had the previous Lightstrip 1S and this is better. The 1S had a red tone when you set to white, this is closer to true white.All of the LEDs on mine are functioning just fine, so as far as the people showing defective ones my guess is you either trimmed it poorly, twisted it, or got a secondhand one. Of course it’s possible that theirs were defective, but this is my fifth Yeelight product with nothing of the sort.And because it’s my fifth, those of you complaining about unskippable ads in the App, are you using Android or are you lying? As you can see, I’ve attached screenshots of my app. Not once has there been an advertisement in over a year of use.It fit more or less perfectly on my 6’ desk, where I use it as backglow. It installed easily, and it integrates easily into Google Home, and Razer Chroma, where I enjoy it quite a bit playing Halo Infinite and other games where theirs synchronized RGB effects that go with the gameplay.Philips Hue and Govee are the other alternatives for Razer Chroma integration that I’m aware of. Philips is too expensive and Govee wasn’t supported till far after I started my Yeelight setup. So I’d have nothing negative to say on this and would suggest you give it a try.

Adhesion useable but quite poor. Not great.Lights work fine and have a decently high density of LEDs.The yeelight app is terrible. It forces you to watch unskippable timed ads in order to even turn your lights on.

I feel the strip light is of very good quality, very bright, and seems reliable with its built-in protection.

Only about 1/8 of the strip works. Will try to get a replacement.

The Yeelight app isn't totally intuitive. At first I thought there was no way to really customize the lights, but if you go to the home page of the app, open the menu, and choose customization, you can set up your own scenes. Unfortunately you also have to go thru all that to actually apply one of them, you can't even add them to your favorites (which are also a pain to get to every time).The lights are beautiful and bright, and the scenes are beautiful. The biggest caveat for me is that because of the IC chips, these lights can't be cut and extensions added - at least not in a way that I've found. They can be CUT to make them shorter, but there's no way to reconnect, to take a 90 degree turn for example. You can make them longer, and the connector to connect 2 strips together is super easy to use and looks so clean.Pros:HomeKit compatible.Bright beautiful colors.Customizable scenes.Cons:Requires multiple apps.Light customization is not intuitive.Lights can not be cut to add 90 degree angles.

Nice RGBIC strip. It's pretty responsive. I didn't have issues getting it working with my HomeKit setup, but my setup is minimal and not super advanced (I don't do a ton of automations etc.). Colors are pretty vibrant and bright.

These lights are bright and beautiful. These have gorgeous color combos. The adhesive works well. I found it very difficult to go around the corner of a room. So I had to place them somewhere else. The remote works well. My biggest issue is the app. It drives me crazy! If you customize a combo that you love, then want to switch it to another one you can't put your customized combo in your favorites. I did have to cut the strip a bit to fit this in the new place I had to choose to place them and they worked fine. I do really love the ambiance with these on. They also look great in my background when I'm streaming. These are good quality and I do recommend them. They do work with Google assist but I haven't tried that yet.
