MYSTERIES IN COLOUR - An art workbook for practicing mindfulness through creativity. Workbook – June 1, 2021

Let me start off by saying I hate coloring books. I understand the concept but they are an exercise in frustration for me. However I've followed this artist for years so when I saw she had released a book I figured I would give it a try. If nothing else it would be like I had lots of her artwork in tiny print form.This book is FUN. It is so beautiful and the backgrounds she provides are mesmerizing. She also does instagram and youtube videos showing you what she sees in the paintings. And it almost makes me want to challenge myself to see something different. I've also spent ages just looking at the backgrounds, pulling out shapes and faces and object etc without ever even putting pen/pencil to paper. If you're on the fence PLEASE give this book a try. It was so worth.

For someone who has no talent in formal artistry , this book helped me discover that I did have a creative side within me. I loved the doodling aspect not just as a stress buster , but also how far I could really stretch my imagination and give things a whole new perspective. There is a quiet sense of both mindfulness and accomplishment as you go through the pages. Would highly recommend for individuals as well as corporates.

Being a software engineer by profession, I enjoy solving puzzles. This one however challenged me in ways I never imagined. I bought this book to make some time to disconnect from the screen and explore the simple joys of creativity. The only other resources needed were found in kid's crayons. That's pretty much all I needed to get started. Growing up, coloring within the lines was the norm. Now, the colors are here, what do you see in them? This really changes the way you look at things. Looking for something familiar? Something new? It's like finding shapes in the clouds. A fun, relaxing and mindful way to destress and enjoy the moment, one stroke at a time.

This is a lovely collection of color and shape to use for meditation or inspiration. There is space to play with paint or pencils, or you can use it as a creative brainstorming journal. I also recommend you look at Mazarine's art...color and mystery are definitely her "signature". This book is aptly named and a way to enter into her and your own inner landscape.

I ordered this book on amazon not knowing what exactly it was that I was getting into. It arrived in a few days and it blew my mind. It is so beautiful, so artistic and so visually appealing. Now I have to get down and work on this masterpiece and create my own illusions and fabricate my own work of art. Can't wait to unleash my very own creative talent (which I'm not quite sure I possess :) ).Mazarine, I follow your work on instagram and you have yet again surpassed your craft!!!Kudos to you!

The idea of this book is very unique, also make us think and work our creative brain.The paper is great quality !

I was thrilled to learn that this prolific artist is now sharing insights into her process of creation. I simply followed the instructions which lead me to my own creations.Now I know how to get myself started and coax creation to reveal itself, where before I tried to force art, which doesn't end well. This large book is printed on heavy art quality paper so I could tear out and frame my results.The author hands over the keys to her kingdom —and what a kingdom it is. I've seen her beautiful creations on social media and these exercises truly give me the tools to create as well.Thank you, Mazarine Memon.

We, at Cloud Managed Networks, had engaged the Author in a team-building session, using images from this book. It was a great success. I then went on to purchase this book when it launched as it was a great personal relaxing and creative tool.There is no skill required and any image can be worked on by any age group. Lot's of versatility and creative freedom. Must buy for personal and definitely a fantastic investment for team building, especially during this "work from home" situation.

Colouring in the lines was never my strength so I had abandoned colouring books until a family member recommended this one. This art workbook gives you pages of beautiful abstract forms as a starting point for you to tease out images and figures in whatever medium you choose (I like pencil crayons). I was surprised how much I enjoyed being creative again and how refreshed I felt talking mini art breaks on stressful days. Even my 4 years old had fun colouring in one of the pages! I've even started buying this as a unique wellness gift for friends & family. Definitely recommend.

I've enjoyed flipping through the gorgeous pages, selecting an image at random, and spending time deep in the creative process. This art book helps you focus inward and provides respite from the distractions of a busy world. Highly recommended!

When I first heard about this book from the author, I wondered where all this was going. It was hard to imagine - and that's just the point. Mysteries in Colour takes your mind where it's never been, into the unknown with shapes, forms, colours that were non-existent a few minutes ago and suddenly they come to life in front of your eyes. Better still, they come from your imagination and you discover things you never thought existed within you. I remember as a kid, growing up in a small town, and looking up at the sky at night. I made shapes out of stars in a dark sky. But now you can do the same thing on paper and, like the sky, the possibilities are limitless. The book opens the door to relaxation, mental exercise, a test of the imagination, call it what you like. You will not regret ordering this creation from Mazarine Memon.
