The Art of Olivia – 2022 Wall Calendar featuring Bettie Page

I lost my calendar I ordered through Kickstarter so I was excited to see it here. I love Olivia's artwork and have been getting her calendars for years and years. Glad I was able yo replace this one!

I was shocked and pleasantly surprised at the quality of paper and saturation when it showed up in the mail. It’s a fun calendar, just don’t plan to write anything important on there, the date boxes are much too small for that. But it’s beautiful hanging on my wall.

This would've been perfect in every way if it wasn't for the fact that the actual calendar itself is extremely small is only on a corner section of the bottom half of the calendar (when hanging in the wall); I adore the beautiful pin-up artwork so very much, and I'm glad that it's large and visible – that you get two different pinup girls on each month, and that there's general matching themes to each month (for the most part) – but the actual functionality as a calendar itself is lacking; the design makes it literally an afterthought. You have to stand right next to it to even read the dates, and you don't have much room to write inside each day (if that's your habit). It's clearly more about the artwork – and it is stunning! I love almost all of the designs/themes/girls. I wouldn't want to loose any of the artwork, so I don't know how they could've gone about this differently, but it's more a monthly pinup poster, and as a side note, a calendar too. Not like a typical wall calendar for sure, but it's refreshingly unique in a way. I do love the pinups so much that I accept the small calendar portion, and the pictures made me realize I might find the calendar small anyways, so it was a risk I was willing to take. It's definitely a high-end item with lots of pop & sizzle!
