The FAA produces some terrific content, and this must-have publication belongs in every pilot's library. This ASA publication also includes the all of the color photos and illustrations in the FAA's original document, which are (in my view) essential information. Although you can download the book for free from the FAA's web site, I think the printed version is the best way to learn, review, or refresh your Airplane Flying knowledge.

Item came undamaged, brand new, and in color. Not sure why some people said poor quality.Print is what you would expect buying from a bookstore. Nice book. TY

Meets my needs, but I received 2021 version, not 2023 version as specified in the listing.

The condition of the “new book” was awful. Torn up and folds everywhere.

This handbook is free. To find it, Google: FAA-H-8083-3C. Also, there is no such thing as 2024 version, as the "(2024)" is intended to convey (more prominently shown than the indication that FAA actually published it in 2021). All FAA publications are free to the public and downloadable from faa.gov.

The FAA handbooks can be downloaded from the FAA website for free in PDF form.
