Personalized Engraved Stainless Steel Guitar Pick Keychain - Free Engraving

EDIT: As you can see, the engraving has started rubbing off. It is not as durable as an actual engraving, so I docked stars for that. The actual pick/keychain is really heavy and nice, but unfortunately the engraving will not last. I suppose if you were only using as decoration and not as a functional part of your daily life on your keys, it may last. But I am VERY disappointed. Started rubbing off before a year was even up.he actual pick and keychain is excellent quality, very heavy. I was impressed with the weight of it.I also received in a VERY timely manner. It came an entire month early, so I was extremely happy with that.The engraving is different. They put exactly what I wanted, which was an engraving on both sides, in the font I wanted as well. All of that was perfect.However, the engraving isn't like the typical engraving I am used to. I am used to the etched engraving that is done with the machine... you know, you've seen the engraveable dog tags at the big box store, or at the pet stores where you can create pet tags, and I have jewelry which has been engraved in what I imagine to be much the same.This engraving, however, looks like a printing. Almost like it is painted on. It is very smooth, and I did contact the company to inquire about it. They told me they use a process called laser oxidation engraving, or something to that effect.I did look it up, and it is a thing, so there you go. The pictures on wikipedia on laser engraving looked just like what I received, too.I was assured the engraving would last and would not rub off. Time will tell.Husband loved the gift, and it is currently residing on his keychain. Will update with a picture when I get a chance.Also, if it makes it to 6 months or a year without rubbing off, I will update to 5 stars!

The engraved guitar pick was beautiful. It arrived early....and my husband really likes that he can carrie it on his keychain.

I bought this keychain as a gift. It arrived with the etching as requested. Wish the font was a little bigger, but it's very nice. Can't tell yet how long the etching will last, but seems to be nice for the price.
