Square Enix Xenogears: Weltall-Id Bring Arts Action Figure

Bought this as a present and he was super excited to add it to the collection. Everything it was expected to be.

What's there to say? The figure looks exactly as it does in the photos. That is to say, it looks amazing. I don't know what they 1-star review is on about, something about decals. Look, yeah, in the game there's gold trim that looks really cool, but if you want the decal sheet, pay the extra $7 to buy it from the store, as it clearly lists the decals as an "exclusive bonus item." Gold trim or not, this thing looks amazing, and has a surprising amount of articulation given its bulkiness. It's very Sinanju-like, if you're a fan of Gundam, but is a fair bit more articulate. The feet parts, both toe and heel, appear to be made from metal, which is a great touch.The one complaint I have about this, is the hands. Specifically the open palms, they fall out incredibly easy, and/or essentially have no articulation; once you push them into place, that's it. This is due to the open palm having its ball joint at a nigh-90 degree angle, and given the huge, pointed nature of the wristguards, they only sit in the wrist joint one way. It's literally a nitpick, and if that's all there is to complain about, you have a winner.

It came damaged with noticeable defects...

The decals are missing. It's a known issue and SE has been sending them out to customers who contacted them. But when I contacted them they told me Amazon would have to fix it. In which case I suggest Amazon stop selling SE merchandise until they start honoring their customers orders!
