The bag is very thick and strong and we have three cats that are always in their litter box. It has never ripped or torn. The drawstrings make changing the bag easy and neat. The bag is large enough to completely cover the bottom of a large covered cat litter box. I have used other brands and found they rip and tear and make a mess. And the bags are perforated well so it is easy to get them out of the box.

So hard to find jumbo liners that aren’t extremely thin. These are still great, but they’re sold by Petco so shipping takes a few days longer than Prime.

I used this in several of the high sided litter boxes and they work well. I do take the ends and fold the points under as I mold the plastic to the form of the litter boxes. The plastic is heavy duty so it stands up well to the scratches inflicted by my cats as they cover their business.

The XL size of these bags are meant to be used with the "So Phresh Scatter Shield High-Back Litter Box (24" L X 18" W X 10" H)" that is sold by Petco. The bags are very large and rectangular. They do not fit completely flush to the irregular shape of the litter box because of how large they are but it is fine to fold to shape and I tape down the edges so the liner doesn't shift when my cats use the box. The plastic material is clear and thicker than other brands I've tried. I tried Target's "up & up™ Cat Litter Liners - XL" but they were thin, weak, and could not stretch to fit all four corners of the box. I only bought these from Amazon for the convenience of having faster shipping directly to my home. I do not recommend using any kind of plastic liner for litter boxes if you do not trim your cat's nails, especially if they like to scrape the sides of the box during use. I line the litter box with 2 bags just in case the cats scratch holes into the top bag so the 2nd can catch any loose litter. This method keeps the litter box cleaner overall, makes scooping clumps easier, and makes disposing of all the old litter easier when it's time for a litter change.

I have big cats, one is on lasix which causes her drink and go to the bathroom a lot. I got tired of cleaning the box. With these, they are draw string, lift tie, put in a new bag add liter. Made my life so much easier and kitties have a clean litter box always.

I got these not knowing what exactly I was gonna do with them. They exceeded my expectations, and it works perfectly to keep the mess and for me needing to wipe down the litter box every week.
