IKB NewFold Out Guest Single Chair Z Bed Futon Sofa for Adult and Kids Folding Trifold Mattress (Fushsia)

I thought from the photo this was a chair that doubled as a sofa bed. It was delivered and left outside my flat it can be lifted by a child it’s a piece of covered foam that’s it. When folded it is about 6 inches high there is no way you can use it as a chair it’s a cushion you’re sat in the floor. The main photo is misleading. When folded out it is about 3 inches high and bog standard for comfort like a camping mattress not as a full time bed. No springs not exactly comfortable but better than sleeping on the floor basically. Good for kids sleepovers where it could get damaged or peed on for example not for visiting parents or anyone who has any bed standards. It’s not worth £40 you can get a foam offcut for half the price that would be the same. It’s very cheap and basically to be used where the only other option is sleeping on the hard floor. I got it as my bed as I moved into an empty flat and I’m broke but night 1 I had back pains all night since then I needed three duvets as padding to lie on on top of it. Photo gives wrong idea (real photos are there if you scroll down but main photo is not how it is it’s been taken at a weird angle. It’s overpriced for what it is and I don’t expect it to last very long it’s just foam with fabric over it. The “pillow”/ back part is totally pointless too narrow to be a pillow too small to be a chair back. Should have just bought a sensafoam offcut but the photo showed a chair/ seat which it is not.

When these are placed two deep, they're okay for a medium sized adult for a single night. Really though, for the money, you're getting a wodge of not very firm foam covered with a highly flammable, not particularly robust fabric. It seems a bit pricey to me for what it is.

Brilliant for occasional use

Folded in the product image it looks thick and tall but it's actually maybe 2 inch max thick per section so as a chair sits very low and for anyone weighty gives very little comfort due to thin thickness. We needed something in a pinch so has its use but wouldn't recommend for adults personally.

However. Love it but I only purchased the mauve one but ended up paying for the pick one as well which I gave back to the courier. Can you investigate please.Keith Law

Abot too thin for my grandaughter who's 7. So not good for adilts
