I used this to suspend some branches from the ceiling for 'Pinky'. Her beak is strong enough to chew wood. So far, despite her best efforts, all her chewing has not made the cord break.I plan on extending her 'treetop' with more branches, and adding more toys and swings now that I have found out just how strong this cord is.It's Pinky Proof!!I reckon you could tie wings onto a jumbo jet with this stuff.If you have a parrot and want to make an indoor tree top for them, this is the stuff to use.Oh I forgot, it also makes really strong washing line! No chance of it snapping and dumping your clean washing onto the ground.

strong and good price

I paid £7.99 for 30m of this.I'm not overly knowledgeable about cord or rope, but this seems decent value for money. It's noticeably thicker than paracord, and so nicer to work with in the hand - because it doesn't dig in as much.I have cut open a section for the photo so you can see what's inside. I think better quality (and therefore generally more expensive) alternatives would have braided strands inside whereas this appears to be unbraided. Something to perhaps bear in mind if you are after quality and happy to pay a bit more.I hope that helps people decide.

This is NOT 6mm thick. I measured it with a vernier caliper and it is just over 5mm (5.2mm). I paid for 24hr delivery because I needed it urgently. Very unhappy

What can you say it’s quality rope

Good quality rope, enough for two lengths of washing line in my garden. Happy.

This rope is easy to use and the end can be sealed with a lit match.However, the outer coloured fabric is not bonded to the inner cords. This means there is a bunching of the outer material when you tie it. This also leaves a certain level of doubt that ot will last long.This rope is also not that stiff, with thw feeling of it just being too squidgy.I would not have any confidence using this to secure loads with truckers type hitch knots as I thing the outer covering will just fail very quickly.
