you know when you should have something like this in the drawer when a screwdriver goes through the base of your thumb....no there are no picture - jsut know that a flat head screwdriver can gouge across the base of the thumb quite happily...i started out with a plaster for the first couple of days as i didn't have these...and every time i used my hand the muscles tensed and opened the cut....again....that tearing feeling...after ordering these i used one across the cut to stabilise it and that worked - no more opening...it stayed on when the hand got wet - but needs to be dry to be applied...the middle non sticky part was useful across the cut to prevent pulling when removing...so i am grateful for these and wished i had them in the drawer before i cut my thumb open...maybe i wouldn't have a scar...it looks like i have another crease but it doesn't bend there...i will be more careful, but having these if something like that happens again will be useful...i did try both sizes but found on a thumb base the smaller size fitted well...would be 5 stars if they had adhered when wet - imagine when the blood is flowing trying to get it to stick....

Used to keep a deep cut on my finger closed for healing. Adhere well and don’t come off too easily.

I bought them for a wound on my cat. Even after shaving the area they wouldn't stick very good.
