Awesome Thrower
I've been looking at this torch for a while to pair up with another torch I own (also Olight) and I've now finally gave in to temptation and brought it.The light on my other torch has a really bright and broad spread although it lacks on both reach and battery life, however I love it and don't wish to replace it. The Warrior X Turbo makes up perfectly for these short comings, the reach is very impressive on turbo mode plus it has a great 12 hour battery life on normal mode. There are many other torches that on paper will outperform the Warrior Turbo X but then this is built to be used. The build quality is spot on and the torch is surprisingly light and balanced in the hand despite the odd looking head. Given the overall quality I feel the £100-£120 price point is about right.

Not the best design
I'm going to give it 5 stars but the design could have been better. It comes with a pocket clip attached and a big nut holding it on.. The nut is very uncomfortable in my hand and I don't want the pocket clip.. So I removed them and replaced them with the rubber gripper (supplied) which is much better. Problem is... That nut was where the lanyard attached!.. Now I have no where to attach the lanyard (bad design folks)... In the paper work it states it has a low and high mode... Mine only seems to have one setting and I don't know if that's high or low?.. Also I can't figure out how to switch between different modes.. The paper work doesn't say and I've tried double clicking the button (which normally goes to turbo mode in my other Olight) and holding the button down to see if it may scroll through the different modes... Nope... So I have one setting and I don't know what it is?...

Exactly what it's supossed to be - my perfect EDC flashlight
I like many of Olight's designs but the amount of modes/features overwhelm me. This little thing is just a flashlight. And I love it for that. I love that I don't have to try and remember what mode did I leave it on or try and cycle through them all to find the perfect one for the occasion. You take it out, press, it produces light (why can't the Baton work like that...).Operation:At first I thought I will struggle with the half-press and that I will keep on turning the turbo mode on by accident, but the half/full press system is actually pretty intuitive and only took me 30 mins to get used to. Operating this thing in gloves is a pleasure. Having the switch at the tail means it will always be where you expect it to be when quickly grabbing the light. I use it everyday in short bursts, charge it every 2-3 weeks.Design:The 'holding portion' is about 3 inch/7,5 cm which makes it (for my hand size: 3.5 inch/9 cm width, without thumb) perfectly stable to hold. I use it with the standard/factory ring and the clip always attached. The light runs pretty cool on normal mode, gets hot really fast on turbo but not painfully hot (or at least it never did for me, but I don't think I ever run turbo for more than a minute at the time). The cut-outs in the 'crown' stops the flashlight from rolling. If you've used/own any other Olight product you will not be surprised to find that the magnetic charging works great. I haven't done any durability/drop tests but being a rather clumsy person I can say that I never felt worried for it.EDC (why it works for me)The flashlight is pretty small and handy, but 'the crown' increses its profile significantly. It does mean it will be noticeable in any pocket of a thin coat/jacket (and forget about comfortably throwing it in your back-pocket). But majority of the time I would have it in my backpack/bag and use the clip to mount it on my trousers/belt when I need it on me (the included holster is good I just don't have the use for it). Thrown inside a pocket of a puff jacket it barley leaves a print. To me and for what I do Warrior X Turbo is such a well rounded package that I'd happily sacrifice the 10% of situations when I may have limmited/slow access to it due to its size (when I can mostly get away with using my phone's flashlight anyway) for the 90% when I just have a powerfull, handy flashlight that just shines when I want it, where I want it.Summary:If you like having a built-in SOS, strobe and a light-activated alarm clock, stay away from this one, you will not feel you're getting your money's worth. If you want a tool with a complexity of a stick, you're gonna love it.I enjoy not having to pick the appropierate mode (the normal one is pretty much enough for everyday use and the turbo is a nice 'just in case' overkill). The simultaneous flood and spot work for me really well (again, I like not having to spend time thinking which one to choose). The Warrior X Turbo does nothing more than being a flashlight. And it does not have to. I love it.

Bright bright bright
It's bright! Throw is really long as well. Temp is a bit of a worry but the instructions assure you this isn't a concern. It's really well made though and battery for a light this bright with such a long throw is excellent.

Not the claimed distance
Too much flood to get the distance stated. Generally a good torch.
