Piper Cherokee 140 PA-28-140 Qref Checklist Card

I got these for our club 140.. We have many checklists but none of them are suitable for kneeboards. These are the right size for kneeboards and can be inserted into plastic sleeves and attached to binder rings for easy reference on your kneeboard.Our 140 only has MPH on the ASI (perhaps that’s how the older 140’s are, I dunno) so it’s an absolute must to have the speeds in MPH. These checklists only list speeds in KNOTS which is unhelpful for an MPH-only ASI.This was fixed with a label maker to make sticker labels with the MPH speeds, but it’s disappointing because the description states the speeds are in both MPH and KNOTS.Also, I suggest you compare the listed speeds with your POH. The Vx speed on the card was off by a few mph vs. our POH. There may be slight variations between the year models so just be careful and verify and correct when needed with a label or marker.

I had a homemade list that came with the plane. This new one will get lots of use. It has a ton of info on it.

Flying with these as my emergency back up is extremely important in a crisis I pull them out and review how to land my plane. Without them I could never have gotten off the ground now with 500 landings under me I realize it is only because of the references that I can fly. Thank you.
