Q: What is the difference between this product and the similar product from the same company which is labeled 33111?

33111 is the Museum grade product I believe. But other than that the manufacturer website does not say what primary difference would be. Both are graded out to primarily be glass on glass application.

Q: Can this be used on the soles of the feet to keep feet from sliding forward when wearing sandals?

I don't think that would work. It's really soft and maluable and softens even more when warm. While it works amazing to keep grandma's vase from falling off the counter in an earthquake.... Putting it in your shoes would be the equivalent of trying to keep your feet from sliding forward by using slime.

It will ooze and flatten itself out regardless. The secret is not to use too much. But it works wonders holding things in place when you have a curious cat or the odd earthquake

Q: This gel melted at room temperature and left stains on my curtains (which can be washed). I have tried numerous stain removal any suggestions?

I might try paint thinner before washing
