Great lantern! Remote did not work, but I emailed the seller and they were quick to respond. Gave us some trouble shooting things to try. This did not work, so I emailed them to let them know. Co-founder of the company, Phillip, said they would send us a new lantern and remote along with another product to try. I am expecting the shipment in the next couple of days! My husband loved the lantern and can't wait to try it with the remote.

I purchased the Internova Aurora 450XL last year back in August. Its’s a great medium size light but has very bright light power. It’s plenty bright for everything I’ve used it for…Camping and some night fishing. Rather I placed it on my portable camping table for much need light or ten feet from the water’s edge up on the bank, no matter the placement it’s always plenty of brightness. I’m a retired service member, I do all my night fishing on base, the last time I used this lantern the base police came to my location and asked if I could either turn down the brightness/block the light or turn it off, because it was blinding light in the security cameras. Its surprising light and pretty sturdy. The remote is a great added feature, although you have to point it directly at the IR window or it doesn’t work, it’s not like a TV remote you can point in the general area. It has four light settings, bright and low white light, red and flashing red light. The removable (push/slide button release) mini flashlight in the center of the lantern is about three inches long, easy to remove and put back. The mini flashlight has decent light for its size (white light only). I keep this lantern in the storage area in my vehicle and use it for emergency road side light either bright white light or the flashing red light. I would recommend it, it hasn’t disappointed me yet and I don’t think it will.P.S. the batteries last a long time, you would think that the high power light would just eat through batteries, not so.

The lantern I received was damaged. Customer service promptly contacted me after reading my poor review. I have to say they exceeded my expectations making my experience better.The lantern has a lot of extras for the price. I also purchased another brand lantern with remote that was a few dollars cheaper. This one is way better. It has multiple light settings and the flashlight was a neat surprise.

These have fantastic lighting! We just used these outdoors entertaining at night and the LED higher setting was so bright we just needed one lantern on. The remote is super handy, the clip to hang is sturdy and my husband used the flashlight later that night. Great gadget! Appears sturdy to use and easy to store so far.

Bought this for a hurricane, Takes D batteries which I couldn't find at the time... Then when I did after the hurricane it didn't even work! Trash in my book..

This lantern is awesome. Super bright and like the remote feature. You should mention that the center of lamp holds a flashlight. Great for power failures and camping. It also has a hanger to hang up. This will be on my Christmas list for friends. I have ordered 2 and very happy with this product.
