My grandson is getting this book for his birthday.

Visually thrilling book exploring the world through Playmobil figures. My kid loved the cool world poster included.

I thought this book had very simplistic stereotypes (Japanese women all in kimono, Native Americans all in ceremonial eagle feathers, Saudi businessmen with a trunkful of cash) and the language was worse. It was translated from French so maybe something was lost?I would look through it carefully before giving to a kid to decide if it's appropriate.
