This is just a list of plants with no instructions on how to grow them.

One of my favorite seed starting books. Very thorough and detailed seed starting information of every plant I've ever needed to start in my diverse permaculture homestead gardens. The in-depth guide for beginning seed starting is in the last chapter and includes lots of helpful tips from this veteran plant woman from England.

Whilst there is plenty of information in the book, it is limited in its scope. I don't like the layout. It would have been better just by species.Also too many species not included. There is better information online. Google Norman Deno, and look at his hugely detailed if rather dense work,or the Ontario rock alpine society site for a brilliant germination guide..
