Great fun for kids!

My twins have used this for about a year and two weeks. They were 18 months when we got it and used it several times last summer and almost every day this summer. They can get in and out easily, I can sit in the pool with them (I'm 5'6"), the size is great for a wading pool. They love the whale tail "shower". The last time I went to clean it, and I clean it once a week, the water was low. Today it was nearly gone. I would've used the patch kit, but the hole was in the drain valve area, not patchable. The kids said their goodbyes and we'll move onto the next one. For what I paid, it was a great deal.

I wanted to wait until the end of pool season (we live in FL) to give an honest review of this product. After doing a lot of research for a solid kids inflatable pools that I could deflate and use more than one season, I ended up purchasing this one b/c of the great reviews and size (bought June 3). I can say it is easy to inflate within minutes and it's a great size for the kids. The material used to construct the pool is good, however during normal use of the pool, it started to leak early on in the season (late June). After trying to locate the leak , it was found under the pool by the drain pipe. I believe this is a product defect and would NOT recommend this pool to anyone in the market for one. I tried to salvage this problem with waterproof Flex Tape for the rest of the pool season, but it just kept getting worse and I couldn't keep water in the pool without keeping the hose on while the kids were playing in it. This pool was NOT cheap and now cannot deflate and use for next season. WASTED $$ & VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! *Refer to photos

Pumping it up was pretty easy since we have an air compressor but overall durability of the product wasn’t great. The pool had flipped over and got rain on it. When I went to flip it back over it rubbed on the patio and created a large hole in it. I probably could have patched it but I did not care to keep it after that. Unless you have time to clean it a lot and keep it in a central location so no branches, sticks, or rough surfaces will come into contact with it then It would probably work for you.

I didn't realize the water squirted out of the tail which is kinda weird. And the hole is good for preventing over filling but it is oddly placed IMO. Great size for my 2 yr old, could fit a few kids. It has deflated a couple times over past 2 months but I can't find any holes, if you have cats roaming around beware it may get little holes

The instructions are the first place you find mention of an air pump. The pump isn't included. Why not mention that in the description? Because that adds another $20 to the purchase. The instructions don't mention the top ring at all. Apparently, the manufacturer deals with product shortcomings by removing any mention of the component that causes trouble. The top ring doesn't hold air for any significant amount of time, so the chamber that holds water for the sprayer falls flat. This makes the air pump a necessity unless you want to keep your shop vac handy near the pool to reinflate the top ring every 8-10 hours. My 6 year old grand daughter loves the pool, mainly because it has dolphins, but keeping up with inflation chores makes it a drag on her disabled granpa.

I was very happy about how sturdy this pool is. It lasted all summer and we even packed it away to use for next year. I even got in with the kids and my mother. Its great for the kids to swim around on a hot summer day.

A great little pool for my little who has so much fun. The only grip I have is that I cannot find a pool topper that fits it because of the dolphins and Finn but other than that great purchase.
