Installed on my 2015 Scion tC
Here is my detail experience using this product!!First, let me start out by saying that I was a bit skeptical about buying this Backup Camera Kit. I could not find a detail write-up/review on using this on a tC. Most reviews and write-ups was from guys with the FRS and BRZ.( Which was so NOT helpful). I'm going to be the first to do a detail one for the tC. I am going to do this in the format of questions that I feel most of you guys might have. What Scion did you install this on?-I install this on my 2015 Scion tCHow is the Backup Camera Kit?-The backup camera kit is awesome. It comes with everything you need to do an install (Panel removal tool, zipties, etc,). Obviously, a drill was the only thing that it didn't come with. The camera video quality is good, but wish the camera guild lines were calibrated better (one line is straight, other is crooked). The only negative thing I can say about the kit is that the instructions that comes with the kit are not specific. You will end up on youtube trying to figure out how to go about taking apart your car (Once again, I only could find videos on the FRS).Did you install everything your self? How long did it take?-Yes, I installed everything myself. This project can be done with one person, but you will need assistance when you deal with the hatch. I did this whole install inside my garage, in about 3 hours and 30 minutes at night. I spent a good chunk of time figuring out a way to route the camera wire. The Kit is Plug-N-Play on the 2015 Scion tC. The reverse trigger wire is already installed on the factory radio. Was it difficult? What will I encounter?-On a scale of 1-5 (5 being the most difficult and 1 being easy), I would say this install was an 3. The hardest step is trying to run the camera wiring from the hatch to the radio; because the tC is equipped with side curtain airbags, running the wiring through the roof lining is nearly impossible (Tip: Don't risk setting off an airbag, unplug your car battery). I ended up running the wiring through an alternate way. I will soon be posting an detail tutorial video on Youtube. *Check for it on my Youtube Channel @Jerome Junior*Overall: This kit is great and works. It is basically the same kit you can get from other sellers like "Camera-Source" , but for a lot less.

Great price, easy install. Took about 2 hours, works amazing
The product works great and well worth the price. Install was a breeze but I also work with cars for a living. It went together perfectly and video feed is great and instant. Most people say the quality is poor but that is not the products fault. At least for my radio I know that it was never meant to show video so the quality is poor because of radio not the product. With that being said I really don't have a problem with the image quality at all. I can clearly make out what is behind me. The only issue I really have is that the guidelines are to close to each other. But that is really not a huge deal because I can see my bumper so I know how close I am to objects behind me. All in all this product was super easy to install with the hardest part being installing the reverse trigger. I drive a 2012 Scion tc and it was mostly hard due to my wire to tap into bring in a hard to reach area. If the creators of this video read this, I recommend changing the video tutorial for scions to anything except the frs due to the fact it is a Subaru build and all of the other scions are very different

Works great, price is not bad
Update 6/7/2017. I contacted PYvideo about the camera being foggy. I am glad they will send a new camera. This time I will seal any potential leakage points with silicone, just to be sure as replacing the foggy camera is a chore.Update 6/5/2017. Camera is foggy, water somehow got in.Wow, let me say it is a fairly hard install. Don't even attempt it if you have no experience.I installed this on a 2014 Scion Xb with the factory Pioneer 6.1" display audio system.Works great, price is not bad, and looks somewhat factory.Search "scion xb reverse trigger" for the wiring instructions.

Good for 2014 FR-S
I have installed this backup camera on my 2014 Scion FR-S Monogram edition with Bespoke/GPS head unit. It works great but installation is not simply plug and play. You need to figure out how to tap the reverse line and connect it to the head unit, drill a hole on the trunk trim, and run the cable from the trunk to head unit. I was able to install myself but there are pitfalls and you can break couple of retainer pins or scratch your car in the process. Asking a professional installer can save time, frustration, and a few scratches. Pyvideo is helpful if you have questions; they responded to my call within a few minutes. The camera seems to be good quality and has a clear picture. It also includes guide lines. There is no delay in connection; picture appears on the screen within one second after shifting to reverse. I am glad I bought it here.

Great backup cam for FR-S
I installed this on a scion fr-s 2013 with a friend that was good with wiring so it wasn't too hard. The hardest part was connecting the reverse trigger wire from the stereo to the actual reverse trigger, which is next to the hood release latch on the frs. For anyone buying this, the reverse trigger wire is the 5th wire down and its pink. Besides that, the camera works very well. Picture is clear although angle could've been slightly higher for my taste. Very good purchase.

2012 Scion tC backup camera installation
Camera works perfect for my 2012 Scion tC. Installing was easy, but finding the backup trigger wire was tricky. I had to go through different YouTube videos. No one really specifies which wire is the backup trigger wire. It’s the red wire underneath driver dashboard to the left of your feet in the very back on a white wire harnes. Follow the red wire where it’s more exposed where you can tap into it. You have to splice into the red wire under dash with a wire tap then with the other end going into the back of the radio into the second pin hole to the bottom right on the long harness in the middle of radio.Update: camera only worked for about less than a year. I reached out to the company and thought the camera was faulty, so they sent me a new one and still not working. I think it damaged something on my car. Im really upset and can't get it to work. I even took my car to a shop and nothing. It damages your radio or car, I'm not sure what it is.
