i-Spy Tank App-Controlled WiFi Spy Tank Move Motion Video Camera for iPad iPhone iPod (Standard, Black)

This Tank arrived rolling around inside of the box, where it was supposed to be strapped down. The straps were zip ties that had been cut and were tossed in the box with the tank. Obviously this had been previously opened and apparently used and then hastily repackaged by someone so lazy they didn't even bother to affix it to the packaging materials.I suppose those negative aspects are applicable to the seller, rather than the tank itself. I think the tank itself functions pretty well, though it is slow and loud. It takes a full minute after turning the tank on before you can connect it to your iPad. Also there is a lag between turning the tank to the side and the picture on your screen catching up to what the tank is actually seeing at that time. This makes it a little bit hard to steer when you're trying to do so with only what is on your iPad screen. It's pretty fun though, and my six-year-old loves it.

The tank is still working 7 months after Christmas. My son still plays with it on an occasional basis. The tank did everything it was supposed to-- move, pan camera up/down, take pictures, take videos. No complaints here.

I know some people may jump on me because this should be a seller review and not a product review, however since Amazon co-mingles its FBA inventory, I have no idea what "seller" my particular product came from. Therefore I am leaving this under the product review.The item I received (after ordering from AXNY Corp) was not a "new" item. It looked as if it had been a previously returned since the taping on the box was tampered with and the product itself was loose in the box (zip ties had already been cut). Because of this the truck suffered from some cosmetic shipping damage since it was rolling around inside the box.Also the item I received was not the same color as the main image on the detail page. The item I received was completely white (except for tred). I would have preferred the color in the image instead. I quickly returned this product back to Amazon.

Item performs well enough. However, as expected, my children didn't show much interest in it. as a "tank", it just doesn't move very fast, and I think that lead to a lack of interest for the kids.

I ordered this item a month prior to Christmas and delivery had challenges. When package open on Christmas morning, the security ties were already snipped and I became aware that this must have been a returned item sent to me as "new." Very disappointing as the tank did not function at all well, we kept changing batteries and finally gave up. It was returned and we purchased a much nicer model at a local store-Brickstone. i would not recommend this

This was something I was really looking forward to using with my son. When we got it we put in fresh batteries and loaded up the app on my iPhone 5s. First it was very slow moving. Then it disconnected form the phone. After 2 more runs like that we connected it to the ipad. Same thing, it just kept disconnecting. We finally got it to connect on my girlfriends iPhone 4 (guess it only likes older tech). After playing with it some we found out that you had to be almost next to it for it to function, which defeats the purpose of the "spy tank". The camera on this was good and took decent pics as well. In the end though we returned it for a refund as it just wasn't willing to work with our tech.

Video is very blurry. Neighbor has same iSpy tank and it is not blurry.

Bought this for our 8 year old who is a self proclaimed inventor. He loves it. Responsive, good camera, great fun.
