Definitely. We are 150 yards off a tee and I have seen it stop a golf ball while sitting on the other side. Great product and made quite well.

The white one is slick, but I don't feel a residue. I put mine up and take it down every time I use it.

Q: Will this work for putting in front of a window to stop golf balls?

It will stop golf balls, as I use it for drive practice. Your problem will be figuring out the tension and distance from window needed.

Q: Can it be used in a golf simulator?

That is a pretty vague question, if you mean can it be set up indoors and used like golf simulators, then yes, as long as you have the room. Can it be set up in front of a golf simulator yes, you will just have a driving range with no feed back.
