Nice retro style, and a good quality

The retro look, iconic Frigidaire font, radio dial design darkness control. Works perfectly from day one. A great find and we are so glad we have it. Was puzzled to see the outer elements are hot, inner while in the bagel mode. Most toasters in my experience the opposite is true, inner are hot and outer not. I’m used to placing cut sides facing each other in their slots. Have concluded it is a good design concept. Keeps the uncut sides somewhat warm while toasting cut sides.

I love the way this toaster looks - it's darling - but that's about all I like about it. It worked beautifully for about 3 weeks, then it didn't. The dial to control the amount of toasting (which is a good idea) suddenly lost its ability to produce anything lightly toasted. Now the very lowest possible setting is too dark for our taste and almost burns one side. So the settings are now basically almost burned, burned, and charcoal. In fact, this toaster is a fire hazard on any setting but 1. You can get decent toast out of it, but only if you stand by it and watch, then hit cancel when you think it's done. This is a pretty hit or miss process, as you can imagine. I threw the box away, so I couldn't return it.

I love the retro look. My husband likes very lightly toasted bread. Unfortunately level 1 causes the bread to toast browner than it should. We end up needing to watch it closely, so it doesn’t get too dark. We decided to keep it because it’s so cute, and we have Frigidaire appliances. If you like medium to dark toast, this toaster is for you for sure.

The design is nice. Unfortunately it does not fit into any of my kitchen outlets (house just built 6 months ago). Have to use an extension cord and the toast is poor quality. It does not toast evenly. Not happy with product.I must revise my review. I managed to insert the toaster plug into one of the kitchen outlets. The toaster works fine after a couple of uses the bread now toast evenly. I get a lot of compliments on the design 😊

Modestly-priced, super attractive, this Frigidaire toaster not only looks great, but heats up quickly and toasts very evenly. If anything, it heats up *too* efficiently: toaster waffles only need a setting of 2, and toast and english muffins at 3--out of a top range of 6. Can't imagine what you could use that highest setting for, it would burn your bread!Overall, very stylish, very affordable, works well: what more could you want?
