Mapp Caster Sliding Barn Door V Groove Cast Iron Wheel Kit 3"x1-1/4" with 3/8" Axle & Nut

These were purchased for my band-saw mill project. While I have not mounted them yet, I have found the wheels' axle castings happen to fit between the inner walls of the .25" gauge 2" wide tubing I am using for the carriage; fits like it was designed that way, maybe? Well, almost. I will have to shave 2-3mm from the axle bushings to get those to match the cast iron wheel axle width. And those bolts, while not looking quite as long in real life as they do in the picture, will pass through that 2"-wide tubing and provide the plastic in the lock nut >just< enough purchase to stay put. The wheels ride nice and even over the 2.5" angle iron I am using for rails, too. Good value for money, for me anyway.

The information on this product did not specify the width of the groove. I needed at least a 1/4" groove and this groove was a little less than that so it would not work for what I needed it for. Otherwise, the quality of the product was good.

Good product just make sure their oil and the oil port is facing out when you install them .

This was the closest fit for my particular application. I modified the caster to fit to replace the rollers in some antique door roller brackets. They appear like they are going to work.

This solved a problem with a 140 year old barn door. Very happy with the results.
