So cute and absolutely silent. When you hate the sound of a ticking clock as much as I do, this little clock is a perfect purchase.

The little clock is attractive, and thankfully there is no ticking sound. I like that I can light it to see the time during the night. The alarm, however, is dreadful. It is a piercing beeping noise like a kitchen timer. So, in the end, I am disappointed.

Received this lovely looking clock but unfortunately had to return it after trying it for a couple of nights as we could not see the hands to see the time it is a shame they were not painted black as it was really silent.

Love the shape and style of this little alarm clock. Also it's sold as a silent non ticking clock which is totally true,absolutely silent when battery is inserted. Lovely beige colour with attractive silver feet lovely coloured numbers on the clock face and top ring.It also has a loud sounding alarm great for heavy sleepers.

Pretty bedside clock, but if you are long sighted, or generally wear specs, you’ll have a job seeing the numbers and hands. Gold numbers don’t stand out against a cream face. Good time keeping when I can see the time, and not a sound to be heard.

Okay, this clock doesn't tick but it has a constant sound that's actually more annoying. It's like a continuous fast ticking or whirring sound. If silence is important for you, avoid this clock. Maybe I was just unlucky and got a duff one since no other reviews mention this issue?
