Dell UltraSharp U2720Q 27 Inch 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) LED Backlit LCD IPS USB-C Monitor

Dell U2720Q is an excellent monitor which is factory calibrated for colours, which means that you will not need to do additional colour settings to set up the display. Inside the box you will also find a separate report for color calibration done specially for the monitor in the box.I am using this with MacBook Pro 2019 and its works very well as a secondary display. The built quality of this monitor is excellent and best in class. I bought this monitor specially because it has a USB C type port which also charges your Macbook Pro while also displaying the content at a 60 hertz refresh rate, which is better than connecting the Macbook Pro through HDMI cable. Being a product designer I always require to match colours on screen v/s on paper shade card for various products I design, hence I would recommend this monitor to all who are looking to fulfil their professional requirement of keeping a secondary display with best colour output which is in par to the Macbook Pro, I Mac or Mac Mini systems. I would also give 5 stars to ergonomics and easy assembly of the monitor!

Never a fan of Dell. Bought it solely based on reviews. I was sceptical until I received it. When I opened and hooked to my 2017 15" MBP, the visuals are stunning. I personally felt the screen is much better than my MBP screen, which is already a very good screen. As a video editor, I can see more details and colours on the screen which helps me in correction and adjustments.Heads up:1. The USB-C charging cable that comes with the MBP charger will not suit for this monitor. You need to use the thunderbolt-3 cable that comes in the box.2. To use the USB hub, don't forget to enable 'Hight Data Speed' under 'UDB-C - Prioritisation' in Monitor's 'Display' settings.Worth the purchase. The only sad part is it's expensive (56,500₹ when I purchased).PS: Dell's customer service is unimaginably pathetic in India. So, though this product has a 3-year warranty and the display quality is excellent; if you are planning to purchase it, you've been warned.

I am using it as a secondary screen to my laptop. The build quality is good, the display is also very good.However there are a couple of short coming.1. it does not have a built in speaker (which I overlooked which purchasing the product)2. The is some issue with HDMI socket on the monitor as the connection is loose and the wire tends to fall off or the display flickers due to this issue.3. There was no HDMI cable provided along the monitor.Would definitely recommend this monitor.

This is a good 4k monitor from Dell. I am using it for my Macbook pro early 2013 model connected via the display port (mini display port to display port cable). Have been using Dell U2412 before, and this monitor is almost the same physical size (due to less bezels). Have tested with iPad pro 12.9 inch with USB-C and it works well with out any issues. The monitor can route the audio through both display port and USB-C (haven't tested HDMI but it should work).There are three USB downstream ports and the single USB-C downstream port can charge devices, but only the USB-C and one USB port supports 2A, the other two have only 0.9A, which is enough to charge headphone but will not charge most of the mobile phones or tablets.Pros:* 4k IPS anti-glare panel* 360 degree rotatable stand* USB-C with 90W power outputCons:* Dell display manager not available for OSX (the support team is little rude in mentioning that they won't support OSX and are not intending to do in future)* The volume can't be adjusted (on OSX) when the Dell U2720Q is selected as the output device (dell support also have the same reason that the only support Windows 10 and 8 at the moment)* 27 inch is too small a size to run on the full resolution (3840x2160), but it's quite good at 2k (2560x1440)* The stand is pretty strong but it does wobble when pressing the with the OSD controls, moving these buttons towards the center of the screen should have solved this* There is only one display port but the product images it shows two.

This monitor eliminated the need of costly docking station and eliminate too many cables and bulky adapter for the docking station or laptop. A single power cable goes to Monitor. It has inbuilt hub and it delivers upto 90W power to laptop via USB-C cable. The laptop can project screen using the same USB C cable. The same USB C cable also acts as upstream USB connection. Hence any all peripheral devices (keyboard, mouse, headphone etc) can be connected via the Monitors downstream USB ports. Works like a charm.It works perfectly fine with any laptops with USB-C port. I have verified with Dell Latitude and Lenovo Thinkpad.

Please do not buy this as whatever mentioned here is not what the product holds. Eventually this needs extra amount of input power supply and so comes with huge plug which isn’t useful. So moreover the seller shared the wrong description here and I have been struggling a lot with Amazon and seller to get it returned with my full refund but they deducted my amount specifying different product received and not paying me back and got their monitor too.Such a worst experience in Amazon.

With a recent bad purchase of a monitor, I was hesitant of buying again another product which may not work across operating systems. This comes factory calibrated out of the box. I am using with Windows and Ubuntu, will also use with Mac, this is as good as it gets! Text is crisp, documents are very easy to read, no strain on the eyes, the sort of monitor you would want for HOME/OFFICE setup

Excellent display, smooth fonts. Wanted to to buy a 27-inch monitor with good display and connectivity(USB-C). This monitor is just perfect, both from connectivity perspective, great display and of course right size for regular office work. Not sure from gaming use, but right choice for working people!
