なぜか800円で売ってたので知識欲を満たすために買いました。8000円では買わない。ワンオフの板金（シートメタルシェイピング）はいまだ数値制御が完全応用できず金になるってことで。表紙の黄色い機械のような一千万超えるパワーハンマーを買えるほど儲かる作品を生み出してるのは若い人たちが主です。日本人が好きな熟練技でなく、パワーハンマーの遣い手は過集中で作業を続けることができる「ゾーンに入る」人たちが多いようで。

This is a great book for anyone who wants to learn more about metal shaping and especially if you are considering buying a power-hammer. The author has a talent for opening your eyes to metal shaping ideas that you may not have considered possible. The book has a great line up of talent and real world projects. One of the best books I have read lately on the subject of shaping metal!
