As others have said, setting this up was a bit of a headache and I'm pretty tech savvy.Anyway I got it working eventually and it is a smart bulb like most others, works well with Alexa too.However I've only given it 3 stars because the WiFi range is smaller than another cheapish smart bulb that I bought at the same time, which is made by Lumiman.The Lumiman bulb is further away and tucked in a corner behind a TV, and I've never had a problem with connecting to it.However this Orbecca bulb has space around it and it should be able to maintain a connection easily. But it doesn't, I've had to place my router in a different place and the bulb has to be facing in just the right direction in order to connect. And even then, if I'm 2 metres away from it can still drop out at times.I've also tried it in the same place as the Lumiman bulb but it couldn't connect at all. So the problem is definitely with this bulb.Would suggest that if it won't be able to have a more or less direct line of sight to your router, get another bulb.

I initially struggled to get this set up as I had to ensure that my 5g on my router was turned off and had to allow the app geo location but as soon as I did that they have never lost connection so far and overall really happy with orecco so much so I bought some more in the range very happy.

I’ve bought loads of smart bulbs which are all consistently good so thought that this one would be as well - how wrong could I be.....?I initially managed to get the bulb to connect to my Smartlife app and Google home picked it up but it just won’t stay “visible online”. It’s always offline. I’ve tried all sorts to reconnect it and it’s just not worth the bother.Sadly I’ve thrown the packaging but if I can find a way to return it I will.Please don’t purchase it’s not worth the hassle.

Once paired this light works brilliantly, the whites are particularly bright and the colours are soothing. I bought these in June 20, but they are now starting to fail.They either continuously switch from warm white to cold white or simply fail to light up at all.I expected these to last at least 3 or more years. So I am disappointed.

Purchased this for a bedside light so I could change coliur and dim, it works perfectly for the first week, but started disconnecting from network and failing to connect resulted in having to use the switch. I have several smart bulbs and this is the only faulty one which is a different brand to the others. I may just return this if I can find the box it was delivered in.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a great product and looks absolutely beautiful. I love that there is an app that can be used to control the lights as this makes it easier to personalise the lighting. I placed the lights in an Ikea Fado lamp and it looks wonderful. I only request that more lighting effects and scenes are added to enhance the lighting.

This was actually the easiest smart bulb set up yet, I use the SmartLife app, it found it in seconds and then added it to the Alexa app. Nice whites, a few different shades of white are available and also a lot of various colours. 'gorgeous' mode is the one to set it to so it changes smoothly between RGB colours. Nice, would recommend,

Smart bulb will only work on 2.4ghz***Changed Internet over to 2.4ghz and the light connected fine.Synced the 2.4 and the 5ghz together and it has knocked the connection.If you have a 2 4 ghz Internet connection then the light bulb is perfect. Worked fantastic with the app and alexa.Just a shame it doesn't connect to 5ghz. Contacted seller and they refunded immediately. Fantastic customer service
