Avalanche Slide for 5 Foot Deck Height - Multiple Colors (Blue)

Very sturdy, commercial grade slide. Very fast also. Built my deck at the rated 5’ height and the slide was a little too fast for my 3 year old. Put a couple of concrete blocks under the end to raise it up a few inches and slow it down some (not pictured). It’s perfect for them now, and when they get bigger I’m sure they’ll love it at full speed. 18 month old also loves the slide. Can easily handle adults also with no flexing. Great if you have smaller kids that can’t yet slide alone. Highly recommend, much better quality than the flimsy slides that you usually see on residential play sets. Great price point for what you are getting too. This slide will hold up to all the abuse you could give it.

Definitely worth the money. Like others have said, very durable and great quality. Though it is REALLY fast. We had to prop up the bottom on several big rocks for our kids (almost 2 and 3.5) and even then it's still pretty fast and we have to catch them at the bottom. But I'm sure with time, they will get used to it. Another thing to note, it's pretty narrow, which isn't a problem for most kids, but I really like how high the sides come up- I'm confident the kids won't topple over the sides. Our slide did get a few little scuffs/scrapes on a couple edges from shipping, but they aren't that noticeable and it doesn't interfere with the function so I'm not worried about it. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase, I highly recommend it!

What a solid, easy slide! I am a 65 year old woman (handy) and I dragged it to the deck and drilled and installed lag bolts (not included), all in about 25 minutes. Nothing to assemble. It is heavy and sturdy. Our deck is about four feet off the ground, but the yard slopes away, so we have a nice angle for a ten foot slide. The eight foot would have been too short to be fun. My two year-old and seven year-old grandchildren just love it.

The price on this thing made me weep, but it is so much sturdier than the first one we bought from another MFG. That frst one was top rated, and "only" 380 dollars, but arrived with chips on the side, and in-spite of the high ratings, buckled under an adults weight (150-180). This Kidwise on the other hand is very sturdy and heavy duty. I can ride down it without it batting an eyelash (if i had eyelashes). It'd be great if the Mfg could get the price down just a tad. I can see a this being our of reach for a lot of folks as it cost more than the materials for the heavy duty 10'x14' pressure treated swingset I DIY'd. A few other colors would be cool as well.

The kids love this slide. Super sturdy and can handle adult weight.

I am currently 190 lb, and I was able to slide with my daughter. And I thought my hips would never fit anything ever again after she wrecked her way through my pelvis 😝
