Folding mechanism is weak and wobbly. Really not very well adapted to the intended purpose of establishing a solid and stable shooting platform.

Works great on my Ruger Precision 300 win mag.New update on 5/22/2020, had to send my rifle in for warranty repairs. I removed it from the rear of the stock, when I went to reinstall it the screw strips out. Luckily I could find a stud from a old scope mount and made it work.

Broke after first week of use, the locking button for the swivel won’t lock in position after only it’s second trip to the range. Was gently handled and transported in a quality foam case... so I’ll be buying a better one eventually. For now it can be reversed and lean against the direction of folding, but it should function more than twice for a new product.

The button to lock it into place was flimsy and failed within about 2 weeks and all around feels cheap. Not worth more than $20. Got mine returned, spend the extra couple of dollars on a quality monopod.

I used this once. Not much weight on it. Every time I shifted my weight, the monopod would collapse completely. Barely held any weight after that. The threads or the locking device don’t seem heavy enough to lock it in place. Other than that, it’s ok. Fits well, easy to install. But it doesn’t do the one job it needs to.

No more sand bags; goes with you to the range or the field. Couple with a good bipod and you have a very stable platform. Get one; you won't be disappointed.
