The Globe Collection [Various] [Opus Arte: OA1301BD] [DVD]

My wife and I bought this as a joint Christmas present for 2020 so sadly the window for returning is declared closed before we got round to watching all the plays. Last night we were disappointed to find 'As You Like It' disc jammed completely halfway through and wouldn't play any further so our 'date night' wasn't completed, not to mention the £17 it would now cost to replace it! and we now wait to find out if other unwatched discs are the same. The performance was wonderful so the disappointment even more acute

I had to return the product because 4 of the DVDs got stuck and wouldn't play on. Very disappointing especially as it happened after an hour watching a play. I noticed others have reported this problem.

I got these for Christmas, a joint present between myself and my wife for ourselves. So far we have only watched 4 of the titles, and only comedies. We're hooked; the productions are excellent and funny, though perhaps a little less bawdy than they would have been in Shakespeare's time. The audience participation is appropriate and not excessive. Looking forward to watching the rest.
