New Pelican 0450 case with Drawers & top Tray. (6 one inch & 1 Two inch Drawer).

Incredibly unhappy with this. My tools are rusted within a month. This was a very expensive case and I can’t believe that happened. Very disappointed.

Pay no attention to the review with rusted tools. This is an airtight case. You can drop it in the surf and your tools will be dry. If you store your tools in a marine environment and they are not soaked with Ballistol…they will rust. I have had tools on several boats in salt water, stored in 100 degree garages in the humid south …never any rust.I had a gen 1 case that developed a warp on the lid. The case was 11 years old. Pelican replaced it with a gen 2 within a few days of inquiry. This was designed for the US Army and the case is filled with 100+ pounds of tools, and baked in the sun and dropped off trucks. This case is 44 lbs empty…truly overkill unless you need to access tools in the middle of nowhere. I’ve had two warranty situations with Pelican over 20 years …I have 10+ cases that have been to India, Alaska, Costa Rica …best cases and wonderful company.

Steaming pile of garbage. Stay away!! Wheel broke after being shipped 2x and pelican wants me to pay to ship a replacement part to fix their poorly made product. Sad to see such formerly great American quality go downhill.
