Chose you toilet wisely
Being the household purchaser of toilet paper is very serious task. There are so many choices of not only brand, but types like single-ply vs. double-ply. Another factor is does it leave traces, dust behind after use.Once you have decided on the brand and type you then enter in the over/under controversy. It can be argued that the 1891 patent for the toilet paper roll states the end of the roll should be hanging off the exterior. So that was that, or was it? Personal preference started to have a voice in the debate. Could there be a more cost effective way to hang the roll? Could we have been misled by the inventor?Toilet paper is usually used with a toilet roll holder with a horizontal axle parallel to the floor and parallel to the wall. There are only two possible ways to hang your roll. It may hang over or under the roll. There were actual studies performed to determine your toilet paper personality test. One of these test showed that those “who rollover are more dominant than those who roll under” meaning they have a Type-A personality. So those known as Under-rollers are the opposite, being a member of the submissive, more laid back section of society. Not being one to swim against the current, I have decided (for no particular reason)other than because I can; to hang ours over. I also prefer Angel Soft, because it truly is heavenly soft and leaves to trace on your bum. I also purchase the double rolls because this ensures fewer times I will walk in the bathroom to find an empty roll hanging.

Excellent Bargain on Quality Toilet Paper (especially with a 15% Subscribe+Save discount)
Summary: The Angel Soft 48 roll pack is the best value I could find on Amazon for a name brand -- especially with a 15% Subscribe + Save discount. It is reasonably soft, but noticeably less soft than Quilted Northern UltraPlush Supreme Rolls -- the closest price competitor I could find (about 17% more costly after adjusting for it's 3 plys). Cottonelle is significantly more expensive, and Charmin was off the charts.Price comparing toilet paper is a constant challenge with the companies doing everything they can to make it difficult. 1. You can't just rely on cost-per-sheet because some companies have been shrinking the size (these Angel Soft and Quilted Northern are still 4"x4", but Charmin and Cottonelle are 5% smaller at 3.82"x4". 2. You can't rely on simple cost-per-square-foot comparisons because companies vary the number of "ply" per sheet (these Angel Soft are 2-ply, some Quilted Northern are 2-ply and some 3-ply, etc). 3. You certainly can't rely simply on the number of rolls, or names like "Double", "Mega", and "Super" because they are meaningless marketing hype representing different numbers in the different brands.. 4. And companies intentionally makes the comparisons hard by hiding the above information -- none of the above-mentioned toilet papers on Amazon display all the necessary information in their bullets or even let you see it in their product pictures -- you often have to research it in the questions and reviews or go to the store (but watch out for different packages that look and sound the same but have different contents). It's very frustrating.I purchased the Angel Soft 48 Double Rolls (4 Packs of 12 Rolls) option which sells for $21.99 (Prime) and contains four sealed packages of 12 Double Rolls each. As noted above, sheets are 4"x4" and there are 264 2-ply sheets per roll with 29.33 sq ft/roll. As a cross-check, I did the calculation myself as follows: 4"x4" x 264 sheets divided by 144 (to convert to sq feet) = 29.44 (close enough), This is the square footage for 2-ply sheets, which is important if you are comparing it with Northern's UltraPlush which are 3-ply sheets. At $21.99 (Prime) for 48 rolls with a total of 1,408 sq ft, that translates to 1.56 cents per square foot for the 2-ply. Subscribe&Save is 5 or 15% less.By comparison, the next best deal I could find is the Quilted Northern in the Ultra Plush "Supreme Rolls". It has 24 rolls of 4"x4" with 319 3-ply sheets and 35.4 sq ft per roll. At $23.21 (Prime) for 24 rolls with a total of 850 sq ft, that translates to 2.73 cents per square foot. However, 3-ply sheets are 50% more paper than 2-ply, so adjusting for that difference you get 1.82 cents per sq ft -- about 17% more expensive than the Angel Soft.So the Angel Soft is significantly cheaper than the Quilted Northern UltraPlush (when adjusted for the number of ply), but the Quilted Northern UltraPlush is definitely much softer. Only you can decide if the the extra cost is worth it.Other Quilted Northern options, the Cottenelle, and the Charmin were all more expensive than these -- some by quite a lot. And it's a lot of tedious work to figure it all out. Amazon could do a real service by requiring all of the necessary information -- individual sheet size, sheets per roll, sq ft per roll, and number of ply to be in the bullets, and an even greater service by calculating the true cost per-square-foot per ply for all products for comparison. Unfortunately they don't.I hope this is helpful.

Step Your Poop Game UP!
Hey, yo... When I was in my early 20s, a girlfriend broke up with me because I was using the single-ply variety of toilet paper in a cost-saving measure. Living in New York City is very expensive. I learned an important lesson, you gotta step up your poop game. Take that S--- seriously. Pun intended. At a cost of $0.47/double roll, the Angel Soft Double Rolls (I purchased the 48-pack) this is a good way to step your game up on the cheap.I did extensive product testing comparing to the more expensive Charmin Ultra Soft Toilet Paper, Bath Tissue, Double Roll, 48 Count. I use the restroom frequently, so I figured myself to be the perfect test subject. Below:Price Per Roll: Angel Soft: $0.47. Charmin: $.71. If I had a quarter for every time I bought cheaper toilet paper... Oh wait I do, so that is a total of $.24 x 48 = $11.52. Almost enough to buy something useful like an Admiral Ackbar action figure.Softness: Angel Soft: 9/10. Charmin 8.5/10. Angel Soft with a shocking Wichita State-style upset here. The champion of crap has been dethronedToughness/Resiliency: Angel Soft - 4/10. Charmin 8.5/10. This is the big weak point for the Angel Soft. Really can not stand up to daily use. Those are the only categories I could think of to judge Toilet Paper in. In all, it is a solid, if unspectacular product. I don't know how long it will take me to finish 48 rolls of toilet paper, but I can assure all my faithful readers that Stacie is very excited to have such a plethora of supplies. Doomsday Preppers here I come!Aside: I couldn't figure out a reasonable way to work this story into the review, but when I was in college my friends and I had a long debate about whether or not it was weird to wipe while standing up. I maintain this is perfectly normal but they thought I was the odd one. I'm not even sure I'm familiar with the mechanics of the seated wipe. Sorry for that visual. Discuss in comments.

Impressed
When I lived in the U.S. I bought this brand. In fact I only bought this one. So when I saw it available in Canada I bought it. It is just as good as competing brands and is a great value. It is absorbent and strong yet soft. I’m hoping Amazon keeps selling this brand. I’m definitely ordering more. Highly recommend.

Suaves y recomendables
Es muy suave y no suelta pelusa y lo mejor a un muy buen precio los encontré, anteriormente compraba marca propia de Costco pero ya son muy caros y la calidad es la misma a mi parecer.

I was not really a fan of this toilet paper. It looks good on the picture. But when I had to use them I thought yup...never again.I gave 5 stars because I feel bad giving 2. And the money I spent on it was not worth spending. ...but it is toilet paper. So....lol
