Bonnet is a nice size. I have long locs (down to lower back) and all my hair fits in bonnet. Even though the size is good, I was surprised at how cheaply made this thing is. Quality is horrible. Upon arrival there were threads hanging that I had to cut off. Upon my third use the bonnet ripped at the seam (see attached photo)----------------------Update 07/05/2018Updated rating to 3 stars due to excellent customer service.I contacted the seller and they responded very quickly. They sent a refund and a replacement.

When i use it for a mask or moisture treatment, I put a plastic bag over my head, like a 10 cent (if you live in California), plastic😉 grocery bag over my head and neck and then put the bonnet dryer over my head on low speed with low heat so it doest get too hot on my neck or ears (because of the plastic bag covering them). I rotate between low heat and cool for a minute if it gets too hot with my blow dryer. Halfway through I also rotate the back of the bonnet around to the front of my head because the front doesn't have as many vent holes to disperse the heat as the back and sides (like pretty much most bonnets), and/so it doesn't get the same direct heat as the back. Makes sense. It's nice and big so it will get as much or as little hair/size rollers as you need. It has an adjustable close string around the top and adjustable chin strap on the bottom. Neither uncomfortable! The plastic bag makes it better because you dont get extra heat on your ears that leaks out if youre trying to get your sideburns during a mask or mold, or drying in general. Works great for me! First time using a bonnet by the way 😊.

Just arrived yesterday . I waited for it to get here before washing my hair. The hose fit my dryer head perfectly. I have a RED 1875 by KISS. The bonnet is plenty big and roomy. I twist my hair so I am not wearing big rollers, but there is plenty of room and the fit is comfortable. I like it.I read a few reviews about the heat. I started out on my low setting and then switched to cool when it got too hot. Yes it does get hot, but surprisingly enough the cool setting is just fine. It is a great option from the bulky hard top dyer. Very happy with the purchase and would recommend it.-

This little hair dryer really does the trick. Dried my very thick curly hair curled in pin curls with bobby pins in 1 hour and I used only the warm heat setting on my blow dryer. It fit my blow dryer perfectly, I was lucky to have a blow dryer with a narrower barrel, but I can see what others have said about it being impossible to get on your blow dryer if the barrel is too wide. As far as the holes letting the warm air escape, I didn't experience that at all. Yes air was escaping because if those holes weren't there, it would be too much pressure inside that cap. But there was plenty of warm air circulating inside the cap, as a matter of fact, if you don't use the strap that goes under your neck, it would be impossible to keep on, that's how much pressure there is.It's very noisy, but that is to be expected with all hair dryers, I suggest you wear ear plugs. It's a large cap, I have tried it with pincurls, with just a hairnet over my hair (and with those two settings you must use the neck strap) and 20 jumbo velcro rollers (you don't need the neck strap with those) and I have a large head and the cap fit fine over everything. All in all, I really like this hair dryer, it's amazingly compact, it keeps me from having to take an ENTIRE DAY JUST TO WASH MY HAIR, and it was unbelievably affordable. I think it will last a good while. I am happy with this purchase and recommend it.

This is such a must if you have thick hair. If your hair takes too long to blow-dry, then this is the product for you. I also have bought their satin bonnets and they are amazing. What I love about this is that you do not have to go through the struggle of sectioning your hair and individually blow-drying it which takes forever. This hooded dryer gives you a lot more coverage when it comes to drying your hair faster.

I liked it and it fit my head but my goodness. The back of my neck was roastin' like a Thanksgiving turkey. The front of my head a bit too. I used the chin strap and put a towel around my neck but then the bonnet shifted causing all types of alignment issues. Overall it's okay but I'd rather have a hood hair dryer that doesn't light my neck up like firecrackers.

The 1st few times i used this bonnet, it was amazing. My thick curly kinky hair would be dry in about 45 minutes. (For wash n go style). I also travelled with it, which I found very convenient.I wash my hair twice a week and this bonnet certainly helped as I knew that I wouldnt have to spend the whole day on my hair. And then I started to get problems.First the bonnet started drying my hair unevenly. I did not do anythibg differently than I have previously. One side of my head would be bone dry and the other side would be damp. The mpre I started using the bonnet, th threads started to fray in some parts and now the elastic string doesnt fully trap all of the air in. I now have to rotate the bonnet around half way through the process to assure that my hair is fully dry.Perhaps with better quality materials and ingenuity, this bonnet would be a great accessory to have for people who wish to dry their hair faster. It has potential but it doesnt last and its definitely not worth the 20 bucks. Overall Ive had this for 2 months and it no longer dries properly.

OhMyGosh! I LOVE this bonnet hood! Where have you been all my life?! I simply air dry my hair for a couple of hours OR blow dry 90% then wrap hair sections around large to medium Velcro rollers then slide this bonnet on. Turn the hair dryer on Low Heat for about 15 minutes then Voila! Instant voluminous waves for days!
