Nice Keyboard very helpful company
This is a really good keyboard. I am using it in a rack mount drawer through a KVM switch. It works fine with both my Tripp-Lite KVM's as well as my IBM RCM kvm. I have two of these keyboards. I got my first one used from eBay and was pretty happy with it but one of the SHIFT keys had a broken spring and was uncomfortable to press. I contacted Adesso via email and explained my problem. They immediately offerd to mail (at their cost) a replacement key. I am very impressed with any company that has this kind of commitment to customer service, it tells me that they value their products and their customers. The product itself is very good quality. There is one question that I have not really gotten an answer to (nor have I super researched it). They keyboard has 3 extra little keys below the left side. I am not sure what they are used for or if they are programmable. The mouse touch pad is very responsive and has a scroll strip that lets you scroll a mouse up and down. It does not require any special drivers which is awesome for my situation since I don't want to have to install a driver on a bunch of different machines. This thing is perfect as a compact keyboard with integrated mouse, and does fit any 1u rack mount drawer.

Old school style
I love it. My new desk has drawers on both sides and a smaller keyboard drawer, so I was no longer able to place my trackball mouse next to my keyboard. I purchased this due to it's width and having the number pad. A lot of keyboards this size do not. Works out perfect for me. The touchpad works okay as well as the mouse buttons, however scrolling isn't too good and the touchpad wears out eventually according to several reviews for the 730UB and other Adesso keyboards. Other brands do as well. The keyboards with trackballs do not have great reviews either. My m570 will last for years. I purchased the 730ub for the keyboard and it works great. It has Num Lock, Caps Lock and Scroll Lock.

Adesso Touchpad keyboard review
This is a very nice keyboard for someone who does not have a desk for their computer. I like it for the most part, touch pad works natively in both Windows XP and in Ubuntu 10.04 without having to install anything. Of course nothing is perfect, there are a few negatives. Once using Windows XP, for some odd reason, the back button stopped working, but then when I booted into Ubuntu, it worked fine, so I believe its a compatibility issue with XP. I managed to fix this with a reboot, and this problem has only happened once and never again. Also once and a while the touch pad doesnt move as fast as it should, but after playing with the pad for a few seconds, it kind of "wakes" the mouse back up. Anyway for the most park it works great, and I cant complain, I would def recommend it

Touchpad works, no driver or any special software needed, plug-n-play, like IBM/Lenovo Thinkpad UltraNAV
The keyboard compares to IBM USB keyboard with UltraNAV, such as those built-in to Thinkpad laptops. You do not need to reach far right (or far left) for the mouse, and hence it reduces the shoulder and elbow stress for long-term daily used. It works great on Windows XP without installing any driver or any special software. However, it takes a learning curve to get used to the compact arrangement of Insert, Delete, and Page Up/Down keys.I have been using two of these daily for a year: one in office and one at home, and they are great.

Works well but not comfortable to use. Track pad isn't very sensitive.
Certainly does what it's supposed to do. No issues having be recognized, either when connected directly or through a KVM switch. The keys are high and slow. It's not easy to type on. I find myself looking to replace it with something with a better feel now that I've owned it a while. The trackpad is annoying after just a little use. It didn't take long before I took the extra effort to set up a mouse through the KVM to avoid using this track pad.

Great keyboard for form and function.
I will buy this model keyboard until I can no longer get it. They do wear out and break down, but this is my third and I beat the hell out of them.

Unrecognized - and apparently not configurable.
I bought the USB version of this keyboard, and unfortunately Windows XP recognizes the touchpad as a Microsoft HID compatible mouse rather than as a touchpad. Installing the driver recommended by the manufacturer resulted in the message, "There are no valid devices available to configure." I contacted Adesso customer support. They were unable to help me, and in fact informed me that tapping on their touchpads cannot be adjusted. It isn't possible to use it as is: the slightest change in the pressure used on the pad registers as a mouse click, and as a result objects are dragged randomly across the screen, processes are randomly activated, etc. I will have to return it and find another manufacturer.

Highly recommended!
Excellent! Helped to alleviate the repetitive strain from continually switching between keyboarding (typing) and reaching to the right for mousing.
